Thanks Will, just got them after scuffing up the front. These should come standard with the boat. Glad you're there to supply them. You have great folks in your office. For anyone buying these, once you stick them on, they will not move. Take your time, line them up before sticking them down. Another awesome product from JetBoatPilot!!
You guys at jetboatpilot do great work. I just bought a 2023 18' Switch Cruise. Maybe you guys or someone else reading this can provide a solution to a problem I've found with this boat. 90 percent of the time I boat alone. My issue is the front entrance/exit on the Switch. Just exactly how does one pull up to a dock, safely and efficiently tie the dock lines to the Switch's cleats, which appear to me to require you to do so while leaning and stretching over the railing, and safely "and without swimming" get from the front of the Switch where the gate is to the dock so you can tie up to the cleats on the dock? No available port side and starboard entrance/exit on the Switch seems like a major flaw to me. I can't find a single video showing approaching alongside a dock, tying up, and exiting the Switch alone.
I dock mine alone just pull up to the end of the dock using my bumpers and shut off the motor and just walk off the front with my rope in my hand already tied to my cleat and guide the boat around where I want it...easy...
@@joearmor3098, thanks so much for your reply. This was one of the options I've been tossing around in my head but I wasn't sure how difficult that would be. Thanks again for your answer. I sure do appreciate it.
Thank you! We do want to work on a side door adaptation but have not had the time this summer to work on it. For now we've been simply stepping on the railing or on top of the table when entering from the side.
These look like a must have. I want to order a set of the new higher durometer version bumpers for my new Switch. Just to confirm, if I order the black will I receive the correct version? Thx.

This might not be the video for it, but you’ve said in previous videos that you own the 18 switch and the Yamaha 222. In your experience with owning and operating both, would you recommend the switch cruise 21 with the 230 hp motor and ski package or the AR220. We are moving up from a four Winns horizon 170z
That's a tough call! Two very different boats. Depends on what you're into. If you want comfort and tons of seats, smooth ride and stable ride in chop the 21 foot Switch is good for that, but not a speed demon. Top speed around 38 mph. Yamaha is a bit faster, more conventional styling, twin engines, top speed around 43-45 mph.
@@nathanielkillip305 If you ever get a chance to spend a day on one (Switch) you'll find that it is really good at many aspects of a typical boating day. And though she may feel it is ugly, we get people coming up to us all the time asking about ours. Many saying how cool it is.
It's not hard to do. Get a piece of fishing line and cut the pad off like a slice of cheese. When done use a plastic scraper and some rubbing alcohol to finish the job.

Excellent! Thank you!!
These bumpers are the BEST!! They look awesome and give protection to your boat. Thanks Will!!
You're welcome!
I put a set of the earlier model on my 18ft Switch. Very happy with them and the installation was easy.
Awesome thanks for the feedback!
I put the old one on, it was easy. Plan to test it out next week.
They work well! The new ones are just a bit tougher. Otherwise only other difference is color.
These look great

@@JetBoatPilot, that would be great. I've been climbing over the rail for the most part...lol.
Thats a good price.
We think so, especially now that we've upgraded the material.

Yes the black is the higher durometer version.
I have the first generation and very happy with them. Any chance on making a video on MARINE MAT TILES? Thanks
Yes coming up next week
Any chance you'll be running any promo codes anytime soon?

We do mostly lake or inlet in central/eastern coast Florida. Family of 5, don’t think it’ll matter, wife can’t get past how ugly the switch is lol.
@Nathaniel Killip my wife likes the Yamaha FSH best, we've owned dozens of jet boats and she never complained when I sold one until I sold the 255 FSH

Can you do a vidoe for removing damaged bumper

@@JetBoatPilot Thanks
Do you have anything that covers the front/back edge? I already have the bumpers but want to find something for the back and front edges.
Working on it
@@JetBoatPilot nice. I’m subscribed so will wait for a notification.
Is there a temperature and/or humidity requirement for installation?
Best above 60 degrees F. No worries on humidity.
Don't you do Yamaha boat stuff anymore? So tired of this 'toon crap.
We do both, but this new platform needed lots of new parts.
