I absolutely love this, I recently started ballet and aside from the obvious physical challenge, my greatest challenge yet has been to find people that look like me. There isn't much representation for African ballerinas. I hope to one day be the change that we need. Keep up the magnificent work, you have no idea how much this means to many young black dancers! xo from Toronto
Hi Fifi. It actually did very well when it was released. People, like yourself, are still talking about it and we looove that 😊 please share far and wide! We appreciate the continuous support!
My friends black daughter in capetown is a ballerina.i hear though of how they shouldn't have a big behind and all and at 8yra old she is already so self conscious , but she is sooooo cute and very talented in ballet.I stumbled upon this today and will show her mom.to show her representation and someone she can look upto.Amazing.i always had a liking for ballet ever since I was young but I'm 40 now 😆
No! No! No! You have just ruined this heavenly dance routine! This music doesn't compliment the dance! The choreography is afro centric, but the music is not! You have to find and use an African song that compliments this dance routine, that compliments the theme and the message channeled by the choreography, right now the dance and music are pulling in different directions and tell different stories instead of just one(Africanism)Please fix this if you can and thanks.
Much love from the Caribbean , Saint Lucia Loves you. Kitty Phelta ,stay blessed.
