Small error at 1:55 : Pluto is influenced primarily by its orbital neighbour---Neptune, being in a 3:2 orbital resonance with it. In a way, Pluto can't possibly clear its orbital neighbourhood because its orbital neighbour is a gas giant 7880 times its mass 💀
One thing that is interesting though, is that there are theories stating that a fifth planet existed, but got fung out by Jupiter and Saturn when they joined orbital resonance. This also sent Neptune far behind Uranus and probably slamming into Triton's orbit, capturing it.
*flung
I believe if Planet nine does exist, it would just be fifth giant, it could be similar to the process of Neptune migrating further from the sun in the early days of the solar system

In my opinion, Sedna is actually the Ninth Planet, because even though its size is small, it doesn't depend on its size, and also Sedna's orbit does not hit the Kuiper Belt.
But Sedna's orbit is also not related to the Oort Cloud because it is far from its orbit, people may believe that Sedna is in the Oort Cloud but we know that the Oort Cloud is far from Sedna
So it's possible that Sedna could have a chance to be planet ninth
What? Sedna is way too small to have gravitational influence on the other objects.
and also Sedna is in the Oort cloud. Oort cloud starts from 2,000 AU and Sedna's farthest point is not even 1000 AU. Please elaborate.
@@n31x The ninth planet has an orbit farthest from Sedna, if you say Sedna is a dwarf planet, it's the same as the ninth planet being a dwarf planet.
@@IndoMalaysiaChannel If ninth planet is larger and stronger?
Planet Nine is thought to be 10+ Earth masses. Sedna is a dwarf planet.
Due to all the reasons you explained, Planet 9 is very likely to exist. We just have to keep looking for it.
Wait till the Vera Rubin observatory is completed then maybe In 2025+

I hope Planet Nine gets named Nona, Roman goddess of fate and childbirth, I feel like just calling it "the ninth" in Latin is amusing.
If planet 9 ever gets discovered, i think that a good name for it would be Oizys, the Greek god/goddess of loneliness and misery

Planet nine might be in the ort cloud 0:24
Oort cloud*
imagine a bunch of asteroids crashing, creating a rocky planet that’s like a large version of the Moon, but with no craters.
Important to note: Pretty much every TNO we’ve discovered that has a Sedna-like orbit have been discovered around their close flyby’s. (I forgot the scientific name, but it’s the closest point of an objects orbit to the sun.) Because of this, I think that planet 9 could be hard to detect due to it’s position in our system. It’s not as eccentric, and because of that it’s a lot further away.
(Also icy objects have a high albedo, making them easier to detect.)
Planet Nein 💀
Ah yes, Planet *N O*
I wonder if Planet 9 got ejected to higher orbit by Jupiter, how long would it take for its orbital eccentricity to lower down
While we all love to theorize about hypothetical objects in our Solar System, the sad truth is that we've got the technology that would've found it like ages ago, we've got telescopes that can find Brown Dwarves up to 10 light years away, so Planet 9 should've been found around that time. So yeah, while we'd WANT it to exist, the sad truth is that... No other planet exists beyond Neptune. (NOT COUNTING THE DWARVES!!!)
Serious question: Do you think if planet 9 is captured or ejected is a more likely possibility? Also, what are the chances that planet 9 is the fifth giant?
We have figured out that planet 9 may be *WAY* closer to the sun than we thought. Scientists have eliminated I think 260,000 possible locations that planet 9 could be in, and it’s not.

This video is filled with a lot of outdated information and essential info that's just plain missing, which is odd to me because you clearly know quite a bit about the topic
The "some astronomers" you refer to are Mike Brown and Konstantin Batygin
The 10 Earth masses estimate has been refined for years with current data averaging out to about 6.3 Earth masses (though theoretically as low as 5 and as high as a bit over 8)
It isn't speculated to be in the Kuiper Belt - its currently predicted closest possible perihelion is 200 AU farther than the extent of the Kuiper Belt
Objects like Pluto or Eris do not have their orbits noticeably affected or altered by the hypothetical planet (in fact, Pluto's orbit is dominated by Neptune's gravity which places it into a relatively stable 2:3 resonance). The objects that inspired the hypothesis are much more distant with orbits that cannot be meaningfully affected by Neptune's gravity such as Sedna or 2012 VP113
Additionally, I feel it would have been worth noting that while there are other proposed explanations (the only one you mentioned is a larger than thought Oort Cloud, but it's also possible there are a handful of Mercury to Mars mass planets out there, or as some more imaginative scientists have proposed, a primordial black hole), Brown and Batygin's hypothesis remains the most practical explanation not only for the clustering but other as-of-yet unexplained oddities such as the Sun's obliquity

I think planet 9 have 70% chance of existing
Personally i think it's a small white dwarf near the oort cloud, which would also explain all the comets in the solar system.
that is possible but i do see one issue with that, that issue being, if it's a white dwarf, then why haven't we detected it while we were able to detect Sirius B easily through telescopes.
@@Blizmogames1337It decayed
@@Blizmogames1337 i think it is hidden by the oort cloud or just blends in with the earths night sky. Or it's just a brown dwarf around 1 light year which cooled down enough that it can't be seen.

If planet 9 does exist which we dont know yet, there is a good chance that it could have a moon system of it's own along with a ring system.

Sounds interesting :)
Whose existence would disrupt the solar system
I don't think you can have a small piece of one of those- without the rest of the object, it would not have the gravity to hold itself together. It might be a small black hole though.
@@henryfleischer404 it's a theory that planet nine is a primordial black hole but it's widely debated and alot of astronomers don't think it's a primordial black hole
Binary System Sun - Planet 9: Kill earth....
There's also the proposed "Planet 10" because of the "Kuiper Cliff" as if some Mars sized object was clearing that orbit.
Y'know, the biggest tragedy of Pluto becoming a dwarf planet is that Planet X was renamed to Planet N i n e. Planet X is a really cool name for a lost gravitational influence on our solar system. Planet N i n e is jusr, like, yeah. You know how to count. Cool. Here's a cookie in the shape of a N i n e.
Honesty, This Planet Actually existed once, it was the fifth giant, until getting ejected away from the solar system, or is it? It’s still in the Oort Cloud so it’s still apart of the solar system, even farer than Sedna, so the theory is actually if it’s still in the Oort Cloud, so it’s not in the killer belt, it’s slightly farer than Sedna which isn’t there either, and it does have evolution, the reason Neptune and Uranus are so far away is because it’s gravity of getting ejected kinda instabilized the outer solar system
Yes , it was fifth giant, 4,000 million years ago fifth gaint get ejected
Can’t wait the reveal on if planet nine is real
I think planet 9 dose exist it could be far away like it’s a rogue planet
