Performance seems like it might be a little low, you can try using the GPU (OpenGL) Renderer if you haven't already - Escape > Configuration > Graphics > Renderer.
Thanks for this. Switched things up and it did indeed improve performance (recorded the second mission with that change). I was so impressed with how everything just worked out of the (digital) box, that I just left all settings as default.

TFE has several crosshairs that you can use. Go to Escape > Configuration > Graphics and you should see the options. You can change the pattern, adjust the color, and the scale.
Yep, as others have said it does have the option to turn it on (I did for the second mission I've just uploaded). I initially left it off because of the somewhat auto-aiming Dark Forces has (being horizontally accurate matters, but where you aim vertically doesn't - a bit like Doom)
