Love Albert's sound on darn near everything he does - this epic cover of an absolute classic is no exception. Somewhere a guy named Fenton is smiling down.
Damn does anyone else hear elements of (live) Stairway and Since I've been loving you in this? Sounds more like youre covering a Jimmy Page song than doing a song that Duane Allman played on. Excellent version Albert. You keep getting better.
A great band. Up and comers, another band who explores the depths that is the blues. Far more than just a base of simple chords, but a spiritual experience.
I was finally able to see him yesterday. He was absolutely incredible. It's such a shame to see what the promoted music in the US is when this is around.
Don O’Dells Rocks ! Check out Samantha Fish on this channel. Black Wind Howlin ‘ ! Gonna take you down with me y’all......and she does ! And she can sing! But this guy is good, no doubt !
Gosh, why they don't put music like this on the radio, I'm tired of hearing people talk instead of singing, I'm tired of drum loops and 3 note synth riffs, I've had it with going from one station to the next and listening to boring unintelligent, unimaginative cRap the mass media is trying to pass of as music these days. Must have more blues and real guitar heroes back on the airwaves again!
Hey Albert, good to hear you Mike an l came all the time to Buckingham's to hear you, sadly Mike passed away in 2016 an the music is gone.. he was my everything take care man love love you💕💕💨
Gotta love those Large Headstock Stratocasters!! He’s got Noiseless Strat pickups in that one. Noiseless Strat pickup can still sound ‘Stratty’ as all heck as evidenced by this video!
Hey,...wait a minute here,...isn't this Ben Stiller?Great tune,...adding this to my list of guitar playing tunes,...IMMEDIATELY!!!Play on Albert,...play on!
the only problem with that is loan me a dime was released before stairway. This is a cover. lol So it really does sound like something stairway might have ripped? In the end all those blues riffs and turnarounds are kind of fair game because its been done so many times in various ways, but this is a cover of a song that predates stairway.
Hi guys I'm 9 and texting through my grandma's phone. My grandma works for a company that cleans offices. One of the offices is actually owned by this man's mom! I'm not kidding, I swear on my $600.
This stuff never hardly ever hits radio. You need to step up, be a real friend and fan, catch you some live, give Albert some shit and have fun!!!! Feed your soul!!!
Albert plays and sings ok and his band is good. I heard this when Boz Scaggs put it out and and I think he lost the feel and essence of Boz original especially the latter part when Boz keeps kicking and picking it up towards the end trading licks with Duane Allman which is the high point of the song. I also didn't recognize from his intro that it was actually Loan Me A Dime. Please no negative replies if you haven't heard Boz's original version from 1969 with Duane Allman on guitar. ✌️
Fenton Robinson wrote this song in 1967! It became a blues standard when Bo Scaggs covered it in1969! Dave Meniketti rendered the greatest rendition in 1998! Albert Castiglia sure can sing and play guitar, but he lacks feelings and emotions!!
Super music, super blues,nice and good,love 🙏🍀❤️🎶🎼🎵👌🎸✌️🎤🥁
Melbourne Australia awaits your arrival Albert. Just perfection. Great blues.
I just had the honor of seeing him live in New Jersey at a tiny little Campground oh my Heavens what a great Trio I'm still smiling

I found AC on Internet Archive. I downloaded his shows, burned them to disc, play them at home and in the car. The radio is never used.

Noiseless Strat pickup can still sound ‘Stratty’ as all heck as evidenced by this video!

16 minutes and not once do you think it's too long.

sweet......more evidence the music industry is not an equal opportunity 'employer' it's a closed industry...been so for a long, long, time.
Nice :) ..you just needed a keyboard or a rhythm guitar . Solo wise , very good mate ... lots of soul !
Unbelievable. I'm gonna sell my drums, quit my band and take up knitting.

When you become one with the fretboard Albert, it will be time for you to leave. SRV
