✅ Gumbostrand on pieni idyllinen Sipoon kylä Suomenlahden rannalla noin 30 kilometriä Helsingin keskustasta itään. Kylässä ja sen edustan saarissa on paljon loma-asutusta.
Kaunis veneranta, Gumbo kiosk /cafe kahvila, upea saaristo maisema ja meri.
Erittäin rentouttava päiväretki kokemus.
Kylässä sijaitsee vuonna 2012 Hartwallin entiseen patenttikorkkitehtaaseen avattu taide- ja näyttelykeskus Gumbostrand Konst & Form. Kylässä on kolmiopettajainen ruotsinkielinen alakoulu, jonka yhteydessä toimii liikunta- ja kokouskeskus Gumbotalo (ruots. Gumbohuset).
Gumbostrand tuli 1990-luvun taitteessa tunnetuksi Ior Bockin ja hänen seuraajiensa tekemistä kaivauksista ”Lemminkäisen temppelin” löytämiseksi.

✅ Gumbostrand is a small idyllic village of Sipoo on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, about 30 kilometers east of the center of Helsinki. There are many holiday homes in the village and on the islands in front of it. Beautiful boat beach, Gumbo Kiosk/cafe, wonderful archipelago landscape, and sea. A very relaxing experience.
Gumbostrand Konst & Form, an art and exhibition center that opened in Hartwall's former patent cork factory in 2012, is located in the village. The village has a Swedish-speaking elementary school with three teachers, in connection with which the sports and conference center Gumbotalo (Swedish Gumbohuset) operates.
Gumbostrand became famous at the turn of the 1990s for the excavations done by Ior Bock and his followers to find the "Lemminkäinen temple".

Vacker båtstrand, Gumbo Kiosk/café, underbart skärgårdslandskap och hav. En mycket avkopplande upplevelse. Gumbostrand Konst & Form, ett konst- och utställningscenter som öppnades i Hartwalls tidigare patentkorkfabrik 2012, ligger i byn. Byn har en svenskspråkig grundskola med tre lärare, i anslutning till vilken sport- och konferenscentret Gumbotalo (Svenska Gumbohuset) verkar.
