I saw this guy and Gamer Sideswipe at Walmart (to my genuine shock; Walmart being good at stocking toys!). I picked up Sideswipe and a lone 86 Frenzy but not Sunstreaker despite all the good I've heard about him, cause IMO there's too much yellow in both modes (absolutely needs maybe grey or black somewhere to break it up) and the windshield paint matching is eh (but admittedly it was better in-hand than on-camera). Plus, hollowness doesn't really irk me but the sheer hollow on this guy's arms bothers me for some reason. I'd probably better saving that 36$ towards Magmatron.
I'm clearing my Watch Later playlist and this video came on. I thought I got duped, and this was another reviewer. I've fallen for similar thumbnails before.
In the studio series gamer edition figures I have Optimus, Megatron, bumblebee, Clif jumper and barricade I need to get to the nearest Smyths to pickup star scream sideswipe and definitely want to get my hands on armada Optimus
Earlier today, I saw two sideswipe figures in Walmart. I keep telling myself that I would rather start my studio series, gamer edition collection with Optimus.
Psst...Botmatrix, the WFC Trilogy sunstreaker was from earthrise not kingdom. LOL I really don't really get the color descrepancy issues either, but its all done in one factory. Its just seperate areas of said factory that don't actually talk to eachother to cowordinate anything. They each recieve different instructions and molds. The big issue of matching the colors is specifically with how hard it it is to get an exact shade of yellow. Appearently yellow is the hardest color to use with plastic to get the proper shade. so when all the yellow parts aren't out of the same mold. You run into this exact problem. If the different departments were allowed to communicate to deal with issues like this it would never occur, or at least minimize it. But in the end it comes down to conflicting color shade instructions that each department gets. Even the earthrise figure has this problem to some degree.
I agree about the AI thing. I don't mind him saying the video is for adult collectors because I'm pretty sure some of his older reviews were tagged as "for kids" by TH-cam and wouldn't be monetized iirc. But I really hate the use of AI and how the voice sounds, like what is this, a Temu advert?
@@Windrazor8403 worst part is on one video he basically got mad at me for saying this. It’s sad to see a creative use AI like this when they made genuine art beforehand
I have mixed feelings about this figure as a whole. On the one hand, it looks pretty good. I have a small Cybertron-based collection going and might have to get it. On the other hand, it’s kinda lame that HasTak introduces a concept art subline and their first figures for it are Bumblebee movie figures. Like I get HasTak needs an outlet to keep circle jerking to G1 now that the main Generations line has finally been opened up to other generations but good lord. The Bay films have some fantastic looking concept art. Hopefully they give those designs a shot at some point.
You're copying off of That Toy Guy and that makes me laugh. Good review of a great transformer. Can't wait to get Sunstreaker for my birthday in October. But why are you mimicing That Toy Guy? Do you know each other from TFcon or something?
Toy Guy generally gets more views per video than Balt. He has mentioned Balt in some videos so maybe they are on good terms. To be honest, I kind of see it as Balt trying to improve his view numbers since the Coppa law went into effect a few years ago and his view counts decreased on his videos. Of the newer TF toy video reviewers, Toy Guy seems like Baltmatrix: The Next Generation.
@@CatsandTFfan It is a law that is meant to prevent children being manipulated or harmed by TH-cam videos. Don't worry, we're getting a BBM skywarp from the listings
Yes more skywarps
I’d like repaints as G1 Cordon and Spinout. And maybe Cybertronian G1 Sunstreaker.
I love this figure!
This figure looks GREAT with Siege Sideswipe, and especially in vehicle mode.

0:38 when it’s in robot mode if the shoulders are annoying just point them upwards
They’re still limited
Yeah, but it can definitely help it helped with mine

Pretty sure WFC Sunstreaker was Earthrise.
If he was Kingdom then he'd have been on the poster.
Sunstreaker’s toy was in Earthrise.
Sideswipe’s toy was in Kingdom.
*I hope that we get a Sideswipe from this mould, as well.*

When you think about the shoulders why wld you really want to pose him that way? I think they're fine.
I said the same thing about the yellow, lemon, and school bus orange yellow

I want the concept series bumblebee movie Megatron. That figure looks SO GOOD!
The car's wheels reminds me of I.Robot Will Smith drove.
Apart from being Very Yellow, I dig it.
It's Magneous not Magnaminus
My review drops Tuesday and I am wowed by him too
No one fucking cares
@@ShadowStryker I wasn’t talking to you you absolutely rude individual that should never be on social media
Magnanimous? You mean MAGNEOUS?
No, I don’t want Sideswipe from this. Sideswipe should have the front of his car be his chest, not the top of his car like Sunstreaker.
