Regardless, the world has an interest in US politics and especially presidential elections and for obvious reasons. Moreover, this was a gig on 4 July as mentioned in the description. So I think it did make a lot of sense to talk about US. By the way, there was at least 1 American in the audience who told me he enjoyed the set and the focus on America because he usually had to endure UK-only topics. :-)
