Good driver, always nice to watch smooth and steady working without excessive fuss. Machine moves all the time, logs move all the time, low rpm = saving fuel etc. this is how real pro's do it. :)

I presume his tactic is to 1) keep moving so he doesn't dig himself into the ground. And 2) make sure he's not fully loaded, so he's only full at the end of his run, when he knows there are more stable roads.
+FlintF the second presumtion is true, you almost always do a run that way. the moving is for efficiency and preference, i don't see it often here in sweden. most operators stops to do the loading
I almost always stop to load , but i'm not in sweden, i'm in Norway, it's steep here and the midjelås ( no idea in what it's name is in english) doesn't work when you move, as you already know.
@@ricardo3760 Timberjack/john deere er så stabil fra før sånn at en ikke trenger å stoppe for å aktivere midjelåsen. Har kjørt litt timberjack 1110D og den er ihverfall veldig stabil uten midjelåsen kobla inn.
