Amazing how one band can have three very different singers throughout their career, and all three are great! Kai, in particular, became a vocal master after he left the band, as evidenced by albums such as Land of the Free, Somewhere Out In Space, Power Plant, etc.
Everytime they've changed their member (especially on vocal), they make some new fans (which sometimes they hate or prefer the previous or the next album with other guy member). This is proof that this band is awesome, they evolve without loosing their grip.
I saw Helloween in New York, last Sunday, and just to see them play an amazing set list with these lineup for more than 3 hrs, tears were flowing all the show. Dream came true.. sing Power while seeing Deris straight to the eyes... something that I can't describe...
This is not just Heavy Metal, but also Heavy HAPPY Metal. A kind of music that can reach even deep/serious subjects but with a blessing touch. Something that gives you air to breath another day and not a simple reason to hate life.

He's an excellent lyricist, composer, arranger and front man. I like Kiske and I don't want to get into a pissing contest, but watching the live concerts, some days he's on, some off. You can tell he hasn't done this much singing in years. He was great at Wacken with the exception of screwing up the opening lyrics to "Dr Stein" and missing his cue on "A Tale That Wasn't Right", he was off stage. Overall I am enjoying seeing them all do great and having a lot of fun. I see them next month!
