Outflank could be a nice sideboard option for a Token deck, depending on how the meta shapes. Instant for W - Outflank deals damage to target attacking or blocking creature equal to the number of creatures you control.
I run a very similar 2020 deck. Pledge of Unity is a boss card, the lifegain does wonders against Cavalcade, and it being an instant really helps for combat. Ironroot is really hard to remove and cannot be ignored for very long, so it's a 4-of in mine. I run Huatli's Raptor, a cheap card for Hero to trigger and also helps with all the +1/+1 counters you get from Loxodon, Ajani, and Pledge.
@Scott M Ajani's Pridemate could work, especially if you run 4 Healer's Hawk as well. Pretty much all tokens have lifelink to begin with, and both Ajani himself as well as Pledge also gains you life.
has anyone ever thought how broken OKO can be? imagine having a 4/4 each turn by turn 3... the combo is dreadhorde invation plus OKO's plus one... have fun breaking the game guys.
I recently started playing magic, like 3 weeks ago. I've built a very similiar deck, with most difference being that mine has Might of the Masses and Inspired Charge. Was wondering why you didnt put them in, they let me pull off unexepcted lethals very often. Like raise into march turn 4, then lethal on turn 5. You have a lot of pumping via counters, but i dont fully understand why you dont run motm or charge at all. Are they unstable and hard to pull off or is there some other reason?
They can be a little inconsistent. If they deal with your tokens, your charge doesn't do anything. Drawing too many pump spells without tokens is also awkward. We have Flower/Flourish doing double duty as both a land, enabler for Hero, and finisher instead.
Any chance of getting some tips for the free standard event? Would love to score the 1 of each reward but going 12 and 2 is highly unlikely for my skills alone.
I have been playing this in 2020 and it feels like if you don't have a nut draw you probably won't win. I want to ad season of growth but at times it feels a bit to slow. Legions end also gets all solider tokens as well
have you tried Naya 2020 feather/dreadhorde arcanist deck with Season of Growth? I feel like Season of Growth is going to be the new wildgrowth walker...
datastorm17 Would Paradise Druid be better? It seems important to have two creatures with power on the board going into turn 3 to clean up a potential Teferi minus 3
@@Laniakea_Super I honestly like paradise druid more just because it doesn't immediately die to red burn decks, and at the very least gets 1 mana out. I just use leafkin if I'm running elementals and/or risen reef.

laughing my ass off
Man, I love listening to your thought process for deck construction
Erick Herrera if only I could triple upvote this comment.

3:47 "We don't get any temples". Technically you have 4 temple gardens :p
Its amazing how fast you can assess situations, youre the best man. thanks for the content per usual.
Gideon can be a nice removal option, and like the loxodon he dodges some of the sweepers
Definitely a good candidate!
I like the actual Soldier token cards in Ironroot Warlord’s hand in the thumbnail!
That Orzohv / Azorious Deck was scary. It was like fighting a Ravnican America (shudders)
+I'm playing Selesnya tokens.
-I'm playing tribal
+What kind of tribal?
- Sweeper tribal

id love to see how you build this deck with eldraine being released.

Guess im no longer a hipster haha.
Still, it was great to listen to the building and compare lists

@@LegenVD I see, so stability > flashy plays.
Thanks for the answer.
Wizards picked some sweet card art for this event

Yeah that's about as many tokens as selesnya makes

Definitely very powerful, but the mana is a little iffy.
@@LegenVD I'm with you on that one. Still working out the kinks myself. Thinking of cutting white and feather and going full gruul.
I wonder what the second opponent’s deck was like
I made a very similar deck with leafkin for ramp

Take your like you pun man
Just as an FYI, you need a 'to' in between 'impart' and 'you'.
@@MineRoyale. ah, ty

LMAO I made the same deck last week by coincidence
