So Samsung was kind enough to invite me out to NYC to take a first look at the all new Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra. In this video I want to share with you some of my quick first impressions of the phones after having some hands on time with Samsung's latest and greatest flagship phones for 2023. can you check if bootloader can be unlocked , you can see in developer options after tapping build number 3 times

Well it seemed to me from the unpacked event Samsung isn't selling phones anymore they're selling cameras.
Very heavy camera focus for sure. Expectations are high from me in the camera department, I'll be curious to see how good they are in real life use
maybe they are focusing on their foldable phone to make it even better

I'm looking forward to hear the battery life results for these.
Excited to test them out. 6-7 Hours screen time on my 3,700 mAh Flip 4 with last gen processor means im expecting at least 8-9 hours on the S23 Ultra so we'll see!
Reviewers on Twitter reported 9 hrs of on-screen time and beating out iPhone 14 pro max. I'm excited,
My s22 ultra has been trash for battery life so hopefully this year is better

I'm upgrading from my s10. Currently undecided between s23+ and s23 ultra. Which on will be more worth it?
Ultra if you want to do everything with more power than you need, get the + if just for general day-to-day use.
Don't forget the size factor. I'm upgrading from s10 plus and I decided to choose s23 plus due to its similar size. The ultra is way too big for me plus it's out of my budget.

@@prussell890 I dont mean power as in chip or processor wise, i meant in general daily use, do you need a 100mp camera, do you need 2 zoom lenses, do you need a pen, or a screen that is literally huge. If not, then i think the + or the vanilla would do.
@@asymex go for ultra its more expenaive about 150 dollars but if you see them side by side s23 plus is like mid range flagship, ultra is beast!

Great comparison. I've never been a huge fan of white phones but there's something really clean about these. Maybe we'll be seeing the "white iPhone" phase coming back soon 😂

Any improvement on the speakers of the regular S23 6.1 inch?
I'll check when I get my review unit. Speakers improved slightly on the Fold 4 and Flip 4 over their predeacessors so hopefully the same is true for these S23s

If you want more processing speed and better cameras, it would worth the upgrade.
Personally, I'd stay with the Note 20 (simple/ultra) and I'll change the battery (if needed).
The N20 Ultra is still a very powerful phone.

Lucky im stuck with a phone that can barely run roblox and a call at the same time
Samsung trade in values were absolutely atrocious this year compared to previous years, so for the first time in 6 years I bought from Best Buy. For comparison, Samsung was offering $230 for my cracked screen Z Flip 4 but Best Buy gave me $600! And yes, that's for cracked screen. If you got a good condition, or especially if you have a busted phone, to trade in, Best Buy is pulling out all the stops
Good thing I switched carriers and got 1000$ trade in credit for my cracked back and front screen note 10+ 😂. Picked up the S23+ Forest green.
They look okay there's nothing exciting unfortunately. I'm in love with my fold 4 and I don't think I'll even consider buying s23 series

Trade in value sucks. Most will not upgrade because of that.
I guess removing those sharp corners on ultra would've killed them. can't wait to feel 235 grams making a dimple on my palm.
Its does dig into your palm but a case helps

@@ridingwithsam exactly, me as well! I don't understand why they stick with the curved screen & square corners 🤬 I personally can't stand the curved screen plus it would be so heavy/big to carry around in shorts lol.
Biggest disappointment is the green colour. S22 green is fire, but the S23 looks so dull
It isn't worth it to me to upgrade from the S22 to the 23. Just my opinion 🤷

@@Young_Dab T Mobile is offering an upgrade to S22 owners. I'd have to go to the store and see these differences. The 21 to 22 wasn't much different
The price of s23 in my country is 1100$ so fucking expensive
i think Samsung is fed up of 16 Gb ram options.. or maybe there is no need of 16 gb ram.

I'm upgrading from the S20 to the S23 and through AT&T I basically get the phone for free since I'm trading in the S 20 which has no damage on it so I feel it's a good deal for me
Yeah I saw they have a $1000 trade in or something. Always a good deal when you can take advantage of a trade in offer!
@@ShaneSymonds correct I just have to ship my S20 back in same box. Only thing my S20 has is slight burn in and battery isn't as good.
Nope not free buddy. They apply it in credits so which means they will pay it for you for about 36 months. Read the fine print bro
@Jared40 they actually take old galaxy phones so if u got an s5 that doesn't work or turn on take that in & sell your s20 lol! I was just in there today & asked, unfortunately the plans are too expensive for my liking & Verizon is better coverage in my area so I'm going with Spectrum. $630 trade in for s20fe & Spectrum one plan is free unlimited plan for 1 year, & it's paid off in 2 years, not 3. So 2 s23 plus phones with unlimited data will cost me $62 a month for the 1st year! I can't even get 1 for that price with AT&T.. I told myself I'd never buy a branded phone ever again but can't beat all that! Did u pre-order & if so when did u order & when will it be in?

If s23+ has the same spec as ultra.. trust me.. i would buy it.. curved screen is the most annoying.. unpleasent.. useless.. impractical and stupid technology ever created..

That's intentional apparently. Same screen size but there's less screen area on the rounded edges which makes for less accidental touches is what one of Samsung's product designers told me. Although I had no accidental touches on my S22 Ultra for what it's worth.
@@ShaneSymonds accidental touches are excuse to cut cost. might as well change the display to a small square box

Easily the most awful color options ever for an S-series device. No shade on your video, just saying.

Terrible price nothing new no sd card slot no charger no super fast charging when 200 quid phones have it dosent have samsungs new super bright oled screen but i bet apple new iphone has samsungs new display and then they made it more exspensive when pretty much the whole world is skint 🙄😂😂
