    I believe one day sugar will be considered as dangerous to the human body as nicotine or alcohol.

      And there is added sugar in damn near everything. I read my food labels and almost everything had added sugar even my spaghetti sauce.

      I sure hope so. Parents should not give children any sugar. Stop the addiction by starting with our Children. And sugar causes inflammation in the body, feeds cancer and Candida. When your tongue is white means you have a lot of the fungus Candida.

      It all ready is. My wifes cooking is sweet. And I have one more artery that is not clogged up. Can you stand a spoon up in your sweet coffee? 🤪

    I've had a harder time quitting sugar than I did alcohol, that should tell you something for sure!

      YES. And it's everywhere. Unlike alcohol or drugs you can't really avoid it fully
      It can sneak right back up on you
      I heard from one of my helpful ppl
      When it comes pop a little "real salt" like pink hymalane or sea - on your tongue
      It helps. 😊✔

    I've been through a lot , but sugar is the worst and hardest addiction I have ever had to deal with. It started at early childhood. So parents PLEASE think about those treats you reward your children with 😭

    So true. My weight loss doc told me it lights up the same area of the brain heroin does, which is why for some of us sugar is so hard to quit.

    In my opinion only, sugar is as dangerous as any drug you could take, and way harder to quit. Thank you Dr. Mandell and God Bless you....

      Caffeine is for me the hardest to quit, pretty difficult to go through that slump in your energy... don't think caffeine is dangerous unless taken in excess, actually has health benefits.... just my opinion lol

    Granulated sugar is a luxory. Although processed glucose is still glucose. Your body needs sugar. Sugar is not addictive, it's necessary.

    Ugh and sugar is my weight problem. Still need to lose 17 lbs and I get sugar cravings will take days where I binge. It definitely feels like an addiction.

      Yet they put sugar in everything flavcity bobby is good to follow. On TH-cam. He goes to markets and read ingredients in things. You can still enjoy sweets. He tells you it is better to buy things with Coconut sugar in it. He has a video on healthy junk food. I showed his video at Costco. To employee looking for a chip with Cinnamon and Coconut sugar. And she told me she loves him.

    Processed sugar is the culprit NOT sugar found in whole fruits and vegetables.
    Our cells run on glucose.
    We need to be eating large quantities of whole fruits and ditch the fat! Especially saturated fats and cholesterol found exclusively in ALL animal products.
    We are natural frugivores by design and we thrive on a raw, high fruit, whole foods, plant based diet.

      Sugar is sugar. Complex (sugar /carbs) are culprits too because moderation is difficult for most. Too much sugar/ carbs without a balance of fat and vegetables has the same effect as eating a sandwich, chips, ice cream , pasta etc. Refined (sugar/carbs ) is the enemy. Also there are 61 hidden names for the word sugar. Anything packaged has at least 5 or more of those hidden names.

    It took me 6 months to kick my sugar addiction. Did it with eating cruciferous veggies and fruit 1st! Eventually weaned off. Best thing ever❤

    I’m a sugar junkie!! There’s been times at work where I will grab a couple doughnuts and binge on them in the bathroom. Then I go back to work like nothing. Makes me feel like I just did snorted a line or something.

    I heard that sugar is the most addictive of all drugs, except for a tiny few of us no one even tries to quit, instead we celebrate sugar, I am down to a few handfuls of raspberries per day but stopping completely is so difficult, been trying for years. Been doing keto for years, a few days ago changed to carnivore,. Just the sugar is so hard to stop completely, I do 14 day fasts Easy but once eating again I am still weak to sugar. Any tips? Fat doesn't help, I am the king of fat

    I came across Dr. Pradip Jamnadas recently which has been really insightful to sugar consumption. Thankfully I have a bit of self-control over sugar intake, including when it comes in processed foods.

    I am slowly cutting off of the sugar and carbs which are sugar in disguise. Only I wish I could do it as o did with smoking which was what’s said cold turkey. It’s been as I last recall 15 years.

      If you detox off sugar for 10-20 days you will not crave it anymore. Unfortunately I have not found what herbs to use to detox it. You will go through withdrawsI did notice Target department store has something for the cravings of sugar costs a lot for 20 pills. Like $40 in California everything is higher in CA though.

    I like my lemonade sweet. And my candy sweet & sour. So I only get half of a reward ?🙄 I ate one pound of sugar and I gain ten pounds in the next five minutes. What a rush ! I have bet my girlfriend $50 she can find the ten pounds I lose. 😏😂 She didn't look for it.- 🤮 We won.😍
