    Hey there folks, Texas homer here. I can speak for many of us from the 40 acres and state that Texas being thought in the same breath as JawJaw is ridiculous. If Texas can walk out of November with a 10 win record, I'll be pretty satisfied with that on its face. Texas has a defense issue missing Murphy and Sweat. The SEC will run all over us if we cant come up with someone special. Our offense can and will keep up with anyone but the d-line might be a problem.

So Deion’s coaching of children and youth in his academy, in High School, at Jackson State for 3 seasons, and now in year 2 at Colorado are not coaching, he is doing that only as a “celebrity” masquerading as a coach?
    This level of vitriol begs the question about the real motive of Mr. Finebaum for this level of disrespect. What does Deion Sanders need to do for Mr. Finebaum to, at least, recognize and accept Deion Sanders as a coach on par with other coaches in CFB? We need to know what is at the bottom of this issue!

    Texas fans mainly but people are underestimating how tough it’s gonna be for Texas and OU to come compete in the SEC yes on the surface the teams from both conferences look similar… Florida who is a bad team right now has atleast 4 players that are going to be in the NFL if not more vandy is comparable to most of the teams in their conference with 1 or 2 players that will be in the nfl but everybody else has atleast 4-6 and at the upper level of the sec you have 8-15 maybe even more it’s night and day the level of competition because one thing you Texas fans have to remember that your record doesn’t make you in college football

    • @cameronmiller7980
      @cameronmiller7980 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Vandy is not comparable to the majority teams that have been in the B12 during UT/OU tenure. The hard proof is look at all the nonconf and bowl matchups between the SEC and B12 over the years. Vandy barely wins any games in conference, whereas the Big 12 in bowl games in the 2020s has won 60% (9 out of 15) of the matchups. Vandy wins what, like 10% of their SEC matchups. Your perception of the B12 is skewed to a crazy fault. No doubt the B12 programs are not at financially capable or even as talented as the SEC based off draft standards, but that doesn’t mean they don’t field good, effective teams. KSU and Okst are both good examples of B12 teams. They produce some NFL players, not a ton, but they don’t beat themselves and they play very strong fundamental football as they are coached very well and that makes for teams better than the sum of their parts. Don’t be fooled, football is not only about individual talent. Certainly the SEC will be more of a grind physically, but I honestly don’t believe it’s going to be WAY harder by any means. The B12 has a lot of more than capable teams who are hard to beat. Especially for OU and UT who actually get every single teams focus and best shot. In the SEC, they won’t be focused with the same respect and intensity from each team each week, which is a benefit to both as a balance to the increased physicality of the league. Let’s not act like UT and OU aren’t as deep as anyone in the SEC to handle injury for example. UT more so than OU. They’ll be fine imo but find out soon enough

    • @cameronmiller7980
      @cameronmiller7980 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@OnlyMissed2K what do you think bowls are? They’re literally neutral games so you’re wrong there. Regardless, I agree the SEC is clearly more physical and talented individually. Again, that doesn’t make it a way harder schedule. Hard is winning and losing, not necessarily physical. There certainly have been walk in the park programs in the SEC. It’s only been lately since NIL came out that more teams like Tenn, Mizz, etc became relevant and any good again. You’re missing the point I made. The big 12 doesn’t have to be loaded with nfl talent, they are very good at playing good, fundamental ball, they don’t beat themselves, and they have really good coaching who tend to make unpredictable gameplan. In the SEC teams have talent and stick to who they are which makes them predictable. In the B12, teams know they are less talented than UT/OU and so they go to drastic measures and pull out strategies they’ve never shown before. For example, Houston had literally never played 3 high safety but pulled it out against Texas because they know that’s been the best type of defense to defend sarks offense. In the SEC, teams aren’t going to change their style and strengths just because Texas comes to town. That’s going to be a huge advantage for Sark, I guarantee it. Teams are going to struggle putting two high safety against Sarks offense. Texas has been one of the best run games in the country and always have been. Now they have a complete upperclassman, massive sized OL similar to the biggest anyone in the SEC has. You’re absolutely gonna see them run the ball effectively this year. Texas is deep at every position, they’ll be more than fine for a grinding schedule

But they certainly are more deserving if they’re undefeated, especially if they win their conference. The best team doesn’t and shouldn’t always get in. The Big Ten, if the trend continues, will be the most watched conference, based on population alone. They need to get casual fans (see Swift/Kelce propaganda) on board. College football is and always will be regional, the large cities in that geo foot print have the numbers to crush, if they can produce a product that casuals can buy into, just like they buy into all their pro teams.

      If anything I would say from OU on is the gauntlet, first 5 games it’s either 4-1 or 5-0 based on the outcome vs Michigan. But as a fan I say 10-2 best is 11-1 cause the SEC and difference in athletes will be killer

    . Will win at home against GEOGIA but loose against Oklahoma & that GEOGIA get s a rematch in the sec. Title game against tx. & wins. As far as that goes, I got the final 4 as GEOGIA, Oregon, TX. & believe it or not folk's, MAYBE a sleeper like Ole miss .
