God bless Mr. Horace Andy Hines and Mr. Teach Dem. One elder legend and younger legend. Teach Dem, thank you so much for archiving our great Jamaican legends history. Teach Dem you a humble classy youth.
The living legend Horace Andy, his voice cannot be replicated, hits after hits after hits. Thankyou for this Teach Dem, bless Horace Andy & yourself. Horace should be rich beyond his wildest dreams, far too many great artists who are still with us today & those that have sadly left us have put in the works. Our legendary artists music especially on vinyl command high prices which is testament to Jamaica’s golden era. Once again.
Big up yourself Teach & the great Horace Andy, I love how he call Delroy Wilson name as a role model for himself, D Brown & other younger singers dem time deh
Teach Dem! Give Thanks 🙏🏿 for bringing the Legendary Horace Andy. The interview is profound. I'm very much fortunate to have listened to most of his music. In the Light album will always be the best of all his albums. Sad to hear what all these legends had to go through as the result of the hypocritical and devilish producers who robbed and stole the hard works of these legendary. These interviews made me to look at reggae music differently. I'll save my money in late 70s, to make sure that l buy and build my reggae music collection. The love and the passion l have for reggae music is beyond comprehension. Big up to the Legends living and those who have passed on. Sadly, Horace Andy never came to Azania (South Africa)🇿🇦 but musically he's been here. Big up to yourself and your team for such informative and educative interviews.
Big up Yourself, Teach. May God continue to keep Mr. Andy, safe and healthy. Obviously your program is meaningful and the way in which You provide your platform and conduct your interviews, makes Mr. Andy comfortably enough to do this interview. Blessings 💚🖤💛
Humble and has always had low self esteem of his own ability that he continually push himself to achieve higher heights not realizing that he is one of the greatest singers to ever come from these shores .Totally iconic
Saw sir Horace ANDY at London carnival performing on All Saints Road a few years ago before the pandemic and boy him voice sweet!!!! Couldn’t leave the the spot despite the crowd BIG UP SIR HORACE ANDY
Wow beautiful big up Teach. Love to Original Horace Andy for the decades of his wonderful voice also his progeny Inspirations like Garnett Silk, Rod Taylor, Horace Ferguson, etc.
Great artist and a legend cool singer . I used to see this this man all the time walking and under his liquor 🥃 😂 passing my gates Brentford road . Great interview teach dem crew 🙏🏾✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽
Thanks for this amazing interview. Bought the LP (pon Vinyl) In The Light for Xmas. Best gift I gave myself. This interview makes that purchase even that more meaningful. Thanks for another classic interview. Mannaz & Respeck Teach Dem. Is a honor to see Sir Horace Andy up and bright and still sounding clean as a whistle.
These Artistes are really realky some great musical icons and they all need to be appreciated deeply........such a privilege to sit and listen these stories, wish some of these younger youths acnndo the same and just calm themselves......periodttt..
I have such admiration 4 Horace... this man, & his instrument, are touched... the 1st time u hear it, the hair stands upon your neck, because there is no sound like it .. that's how it was 4 me, as a young 13 year old man, wanting 2 become a singer... and what I took from Horace, was that it is that which makes U Different, that is your gift, & defines U as a singer... the goal is to find Yourself, within the sound U make.. that is when U are truly able 2 express yourself RIGHT... Horace, like most reggae singers who came Up in his day, did not get his financial due... and I am so grateful for his involvement in Massive, for not only did it put some well deserved money into his pockets, but it diversified his career and muscial legacy... they absolutely highlighted his voice on those tracks, and brought him 2 a whole new generation of music fans... that is a giant blessing 🙌 thank U for doing this interview, maybe it will open the way for a documentary about Horace & his incredible journey 🙏 needs 2 be told and documented, from the man's own mouth, asap💙💜🎶
I remixed the 'bless you' song to win a classroom clash in high school 94. Didn't even realize it was his song. Big up the man! It seems it's 28 and counting for him. Big up Teach Dem!
This is amazing omg love your voice Dad, finally get a chance to hear this much of your life I am honored this was a wonderful interview so it is true it's really almost 30 of us omg😳😭🤣
Unique (and big) voice. You can see this is a man that meditate very deep into things. I like he spontaneously pays tribute to the stalwarts in the business, and also his peers. This human being is in touch with his reality. Very level.
My respect increase 1000% for this Brethren, just for the mere fact he mentioned The GREAT LARRY MARSHALL one of Jamaica most prolific singer of Rock Steady/Reggae love songs. Luge up yuhself Horace Sleepy Andy🇯🇲❤️💯✅
The fact that Teach Dem remembered the name of the song Horace did for Harry J 36:55 was just mind blowing. Teach Dem is hands down the greatest interviewer in the entertainment industry. Hands down! No apology!
@@cognitionup5211 that's exactly what I'm talking about. Teach Dem has a genuine interest in what's he's doing. It's not about the likes or views. That level of research takes time and dedication. To be doing it for free, you have to love what you do!
Sorry, guys. Teach Dem is a prentice. At about 18:00 you'll see he didn't know beans about the great Zapp Pow band, when Sleepy was trying to remember horns man Cedric "Im" Brooks and his band that sang "This Is Reggae Music". Tech Dem knows his stuff and researches where possible, but he's a young guy who's knowledge only scratches the surface of Reggae music history.
Never said I was an expert my friend or make any such claim, just a youth enjoying what I do, don’t need to be an expert to do that and the artistes and majority of the view just happen to love the energy that’s all that matters to me
