cette interprétation est salvifique! Mozart nous transporte en des lieux inaccessibles qu'on ne peut voir ni toucher, ni commenter.... merci à cette brillante interprétation, et merci Mozart!
True, indeed Mozart is the Elixir ! His music is the portal ,where the soul find himself with Divinity!
Mozart and Schubert are the only two in the world that can calm my panic attacks. Nothing more profoundly pleasant than a mass in a major key.
Brahms?
anonymusum Brahms is slightly too frenetic for me. A genius obviously, just more than I can handle.
But then you should like Haydn, Telemann, Vivaldi, Faure or Schumann.
anonymusum Just let the man listen to his music.
I’ll give them a try next time I have a panic attack (if I can physically move.)
This Coronation Mass cannot be compared to the unfinished Mass in C minor, but it is indeed and definitely a masterwork. Every detail holds its place.
I did this mass for choir it was a difficult piece of music to learn because of the pronunciation of the words, and the different tempos of each movement; it sure kept me on my toes.
I did this for violin several years ago. Right there with you on the difficulty! The Credo was absolutely insane, but this is one of my favorite pieces to have played.
Back in 2007, my university's choir and orchestra performed this entire work. I sang in alto part. So unforgettable moment in my life and I really miss college days. ;(
I sang the alto part ten years prior on our choir's little Europe trip. The most amazing experience of my life! By the time we toured, I had the piece memorized. I loved the music so much, the conductor had to keep telling me to be still, my body just couldn't resist moving with the music! As you said: unforgettable!
I was looking for this version. For me, Harnoncourt is always outstanding conductor. Thanks for sharing !!
wow beautiful
and just thinking that i'm going to visit this concert in person soon in salzburg..
celestial stuff!....great thanks to Mozart and the performers.
The heaven is in the earth and this man was know how to create it, lovely Mozart
Mozart is beyond human comprehension. at best all we can do is grasp tiny fractions and enjoy it.
Oppie Oppenheimer
Oppie Oppenheime
Oppie Oppenheimer no. He was just a man.
Whenever anyone wonders who was the greatest composer who ever lived, all they need to do is ask themselves who was the master of EVERY genre (instrumental, chamber, wind band, concertante, symphonic, operatic and choral). Only one person's CV can boast this ... Mozart.
i think dvorak also composed in all the genres you mention. but, of course, a mozart he wasn't.
Quelle fraîcheur ! Enfin, cette messe ressemble à du Mozart !
Super Wolferl !!!
I cannot help but notice how many similarities this piece shares with the music of Antonio Salieri. Seeing the time of the creation of this mass and learning about both composers, I think that Mozard was greatly inspired by Salieri's distinct style.
Outstanding performance! I have the original recording on a CD (Teldec).
Mozart's C major Mass has great music throughout, with some heavenly melodies! How did you folks learn that this performance was directed by Harnoncourt?
Still one of my favorite pieces of Mozart!
Very good!!!
Do you want to know more about Mozart , read this book Mozart the Freemason ! Topic gnoses, from 15 century. People comment about Him, but they don’t know anything about it !
I find mozart so handsome...The mass is beautiful but so is he ya feel
Bruh
That's not a confirmed portrait of him. That is most likely not him in the portrait.
Well he did sleep with like every single prima donna that sang his opera, so...
Puro amor❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hermoso guacho
I'll be the first to admit the man isn't my favourite composer of all time, he isn't even my favourite German composer. But, man alive, this shit is magic.
+martythetickler It makes sense for him not to be your favourite German composer, seeing as he was Austrian. ;)
Maisenish Oh, whatever. German, Austrian, No difference.
+martythetickler Yes, you got your point across, and that's what really matters.
+martythetickler Other than being two different countries.
Amateur Brain Surgery Society Two countries that are right next to each other and speak exactly the same language.
The Karajan Vatican version is still there. Personally I prefer this version.
perfect
Beauty.
Me gusta Mozart. Lo copio ahora.
It is filled with anger and pray for the comfort of God

Your link to Wikipedia in the description is missing a closing parentheses (the parentheses appears outside the link, not as part of the link, as it should), and so does not work properly. You might want to fix that.
This is the B major
Model ing poses no problem unless it's bad
The portrait represents Franz Xavier Sussmayr and absolutely not Wolfgang Mozart.
whats up people
Typisch Harnoncourt - er zerbröselt das Stück (wieder mal) in seine Einzelteile, so dass der große Bogen fehlt.
This is in B major :s
Original tuning, I think.
i cant chew my gum
Misa en C que no está en C?
Great recording but it’s in B major instead of C lol
Great comment but it’s in baroque tuning lol
Why does Agnus Dei end in B major?
Period instrument tuning
Beauty white music.
tacos taste good
do u
i like tacos
That portrait is not one of Mozart. He was not that charismatic.
