except suju :') there he's just so chill and smooth you won't notice the fucker, unless he wants. "lazy dancing" he's been described as by the members bc he looks so relaxed lmao. but give it to the others that will go 10000000% at it just to troll and go at IT. (kings only)
@@maggie1479 haha I'm happy you enjoyed it 😄 yeah I love his style, he's a underrated bastard :') Haechan kind of reminds me of it as well. The amount of ✨𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚✨ dancers that crack house have is never gonna fail to impress me. 👌
NCT is an absolute killer dance group. Your favorite dancer is Taeyong the leader of the group. He’s an extremely talented dancer and he actually didn’t have any background in dancing before being scouted to be an idol. He’s actually stated that in his trainee days his instructors frequently told him he wasn’t good and that they didn’t think he’d make it to debut. But he worked hard and he’s got the level he is now with hella practice and endurance and definitely passion. His stage presence and energy is one of the most notable and praised features of his performances. He’s incredible lol and of course everyone one else in NCT is phenomenal. The dancer who went hard on his tip toes has a background in being a dance crew and doing backup dance work for other artists before debuting in this group with this song. He’s impressed a lot of fans with this being his first song. One of my favorite things of watching their dance practice vs the live stage is seeing how much fun they’re having in the practice, while also being ON IT, and then seeing them be so serious or put on their “bad bitch” personas when they go on stage haha looking forward to more NCT reactions!
it's crazy how taeyong stands out to every single person that reacts to all the dance videos. it just shows how dedicated, passionate and talented he is as an idol, main dancer, main rapper, visual and the center.
The way Taeyong is constantly recognized makes me so proud omg. He has been viewed as one of the top male dancers in all of kpop. He’s so amazing and he LOVES performing which makes him so interesting to watch. He always adds his own flavor to the choreo & never does stages the exact same. TAEYONG BEST DANCER HAHA
Taeyong (the one you pointed out as really into it) did mention in an interview that he enjoys this more than any choreo he's done in awhile. You can just tell he's enjoying himself right? :D
So I just looked it up, and according to the SM website, the choreographers for this were ReiNa (Japanese choreographer and apparently only 19 years old - impressive!) and Melvin Timtim. The more you know! And as people have already pointed out, yes, the one you like is Taeyong. He's the overall leader of NCT and main dancer/main rapper of NCT 127. I'm not a dancer nor a performer but I personally think he's very charismatic on stage. If you look into more NCT, look out for him in Cherry Bomb, Kick It, and Boss especially. Also, the one you mentioned who did the knee-swivel a bit better - that's Shotaro, a new Japanese member that was a professional backup dancer for Gackt and other acts in Japan before he was introduced into NCT in October. And as always, your analyses are super interesting and looking forward to your next one!
Shotaro is a dancing machine. I just checked his online tiktok and other stuff. This guy is like a legit hip hop pro dancer...incredible...I heard he was discovered by SM through tiktok and asked to audition for them
taeyong is credited for being a performer who is recognized by several professional choreographers and directors for his amazing talents. he is also someone known by choreographers as someone who pinpoints things in the original choreography that could make the performance look better tailored to the preference of the dancers and the style of the music.
Ty is amazing and the stage presence is sick. like not joke. the man will kill us all one day. I would love if you saw the 7th sense (their debut song) and every rookie/trainee group is scared of that dance. no one can do it, it has a viiiibe you know. Trainee survival show had kids absolutely horrified to get that song. everything but the 7th sense kind of . lol
I need to see more about SHOTARO, really, like he has been dancing since he was 5 years old, I need to see more of him in NCT, and his pre debut dancing videos are AMAZING
The dancer you really liked, that was so into it (the one with the grey Zegna shirt), his name is Taeyong. Eventually, if you react to SuperM, he's also on that group. The one that starts the song on the center whistling and winks at the end (white shirt with green something printed on, black cap), his name is Lucas and he's ALSO on SuperM. You actually reacted to him before, because he's also... on WayV (he's the one in the center on Turn Back Time's head groove move). All the groups are under the same label, and the performers often take part in multiple projects.
Taeyong ALWAYS stands out, his dancing, natural groove and precision hits different. He just finds a way to execute the moves and adds his own flair. One of the best dancers in KPOP by far.
I'm glad you liked Taeyong's dancing, his story is really inspiring. his trainer used to call his dancing hopeless but now the same trainer uses taeyong as an example of a great dancer while teaching other idols. I hope you react more to NCT and Taeyong, he has a few freestyle videos, would love to know your opinion on them
Haters: Taeyong got all the attention because he's always center Any rational, objective person ever, pointing at Taeyong in the corner: Look at him! His energy! I don't know his name, but he's my favorite performer.
11:28 that's Lucas, he always leaves it bent on that part so I guess he was probably told not to extend himself cause his limbs are much longer than anyone else in the lineup, it would stand out especially if your view was lower than the dance practice camera.
I just want to share that the guy you mentioned that so in to it is Lee Taeyong, leader of NCT! When Taeyong was a trainee he was so bad at dancing that even his dance teacher said to the management that he's so bad, he won't make it! But Taeyong just practice and practice and practice, even his co-trainee / Member Yuta said that if he learns from Taeyong's dance training for one day, he would quit dancing! Taeyong kept practicing and finally snatched the Main Dancer position in NCT! And now most of rookie idol in K-pop idolized him and he was respected as one of the best dancer in K-pop at the moment! That's how hard working Lee Taeyong is.
Man ! I really appreciate the appreciation comments for Taeyong mostly from professional dancer . It's really show that Taeyong is kind different level when it come to dance . He's got skill and passion. That's what make him beautiful to watch . Congrats you just got my subscription Sir .
I really enjoy every one of your video reactions and analyses, I'm not a dancer, I'm a producer but I love how you talk about both points. You made such a wholesome content, I hope you can keep doing it, I learn so much about performance and dance with you. I'm sharing your videos with my friends, definitely. Great vibes to you and your projects.
True, It's hard to grasp NCT's FULL impact without their fanstick wielding kpop fans spurring them on. But as I'm sure you can imagine these boys routinely drive whole stadiums insane. Lee Sooman's brainchild NeoCultureTechnology (30 years in the making at SM Entertainment) is a complex franchise but with all the interests & projects that YOU juggle you'd know the skill & effort it takes for #NCT to scout train style assemble debut & promote (currently!) 23 members in 4 subunits. #NCTU is the special projects unit for NCT. A project is greenlit then members are matched to it from the three fixed units; #NCT127, #NCTDream & #NCTWayV. So MakeAWish contains six members from all three units who trained as rookies but don't now dance together plus one new kid who has not performed with NCT at all. In terms of their impact, four of these boys were Covid Warriors who TOURED on the front lines of the PANDEMIC. 127Taeyong & WayVLucas, were two of of the seven superstars in SM super group #SuperM, who sold out one of the last events at Madison Square Garden. Then Taeyong, head of all 23 members of #NCT2020, took HIS franchise flagship, the nine member #NCT127 (including MAW Doyoung & Jaehyun), to thrill 62,000 Texans on the night before Covid fears shut down the legendary Houston Rodeo. As the threat spread worldwide, SuperM jetted to give kpop fans two of the last concerts to be given in London & Paris. So THREE of the final pre covid live kpop concerts had that kid you like, Lee Taeyong, doing his FRISKY thing. On the SuperM Tour, in his self written & staged solo "GTA" he rapped a stadium into a screaming mob. In Japan we watched the Leader of NCT127 SILENCE the screams just by touching a finger to his lips. Taeyong is quite a little...svengali.
Yeah Taeyong is an incredible dancer he always adds his own twist, he's one of the best dancers in the industry yet he had no experience before becoming a trainee, his growth as a performer is so inspiring. React to Kick It, Boss, Chain, Simon Says and Cherry bomb seriously one of the best dancers ever. Their debut is also insane of the 7th sense their is a performance video for that.
As many people mentioned, your fave performer is Taeyong. Since you like his moves, you might want to check out Baby Don't Stop - which is a duet between Taeyong and one of the other NCT dancers, Ten. They're pretty fantastic. Also, you might want to check out soloist Lee Taemin's choreography. He's not bad.
The one in jeans is the leader of the group and one of their best dancers. :) He's also in SuperM, and if you haven't seen them yet, I highly recommend that you check them out too. You're watching the cream of the crop for Kpop.
NCT choreography sets them apart from others. They trained those boys in every aspect of movement, they move as one, robots. They are also a dance crew as far as I'm concerned. Their debut NCT U - The 7th Sense is iconic for it's musicality. You should watch NCT 127 - Simon Says, another favorite of mine... Footwork, layers and formations. The guys energy that you love is Taeyong the leader of NCT, father to now 22 kids. You can always count on Taeyong to bring showmanship to the table. His movements are insane and his body doesn't move like any other. You'll enjoy his performances.
oh god if you love taeyong here, then you need to watch simon says, boss, cherry bomb, chain, baby don’t stop, kick it, the 7th sense! i promise you, you’re going to fall so deep there will be no escape sksksk jk but man, he really is such a charismatic performer.
Reina Queen Me was a part of the choreography!! She's japanese and such a great choreographer and performer. She also choreographed Stray Kids' Back Door and NCT's most recent 90's Love!!!
Taeyong means everything to me. He is a very important person for me outside of Kpop. I have a lot of respect for him, his thoughts and actions always make me respect one layer more. The main dancer of the group, the main rapper (she has a great voice and tries different rap styles in each song, she can put her voice into different forms) visual, center of centers, songwriter, composer, leader of 22 beautiful members. He has improved himself very, very hard. Yes, all of our members work very hard, but they don't sleep at night, officially everyone from employees to producers says he is the busiest member. Composition production choreography also joins these. He works harder than anyone else to keep the company's confidence in him. He's the one even choreographers call better than me. In addition, he was exposed to lynchings and slanders that he did not deserve in this busy tempo. But he always smiled and always gave good messages. His Age is not very big, but he is a versatile person who can manage 23 people with him, he has a really beautiful heart. Talented in all areas. He always says such good things, be it Vlive posts or elsewhere, and he values members and other people so much that sometimes I am surprised at his wonderful thoughts. He has really great manners, very thoughtful. Someone born to be an idol and someone unique like him will never come back.
Hell yeah!! Thank you so much for this detailed reaction! I appreciate so much the attention to detail! The dancer you liked best is called Taeyong, and he really brings it to WHATEVER he's in! You'd love seeing more of him, and we'd love to see you seeing more of him too XD
The one with jeans yu like is Taeyong - leader of the group and visual too, he is super talented and charismatic, in my opinion Taeyong is such a cute person but also very skilled I watched many videos with him dancing, rapping and he has nice voice too, everyone praise him not only for the way he looks but for his talents he loves all members and works very hard to write songs, if you will subscrive to NCT Daily you'll see how much he works and he is super methodical(clean)he is something rare really first when I saw him I thought that he is escaped from japanese anime. I really recommend you Taeyong - long flight - it's sych a nice song!
Your reaction format is probably my favorite because you really take into consideration that dance practices look different from final performances. The respect for the craft is truly appreciated!
SM's style is all about smoothness and fluidity. Despite how hard the beat of the song is, their movement will always be more on the smooth side like flowing water. I really love this about them
Taeyong in NCT , V in BTS and Hoonjong in ATEEZ are the main performers I find absolutely fascinating and scary at the same time. Their on stage personas are just magnetic. Just looking at their face and body expressions is a whole mood!
that guy is Taeyong as is one of kpop best performers, and most of his difference from the group is actually intentional :D in that jump section, he doesn't even fit in the 3 man formation, but he is there and he is killing it ;D
Loved this! NCT is just so good, they perform well and their expressions are top tier. Can never go wrong with them. more NCT content would be nice! There's a lot to choose from. Cherry Bomb, Kick It, Simon Says, and Boss are some great hype stuff, while The 7th Sense, Regular, and Touch are examples of just fun... "feeling the vibe" kind of stuff? hehe NCT is like a collective that consists of multiple groups/units! They have 23 members so far :) I won't go into too much detail, but here are the units: > NCT 127: 10 members > NCT Dream: 7 members > WayV: 7 members > NCT U: rotational unit, different members from the 23 get to participate based on the song that fits their vibe Have fun, and take your time with the reactions! Thank you for this one! Will look forward to more!
19:00 guy in the middle is Shotaro from Japan. He's one of the new members of NCT this is his debut and before he was scouted, he was part of a dance crew and been competing in his country
I think you pointed out a few times that you really liked the vibe of the one in the middle at 15:36! Fun fact about him, this is his debut with the group but he actually was part of a professional dance team in Japan before joining!
Gotta hype up my bias! He's the one you pointed out that he might be your fav dancer in Make A Wish. His name is Taeyong and a fun fact, before he entered the company, he knew nothing about dance, it was so hard for him, he was told that he won't be able to debut because he's such a bad dancer, but look at him now 🥺 I'm so proud of him and seeing people and even dancers like you appreciate him makes me happy. Thank you for that! By the way, It's my first time to the channel and I don't know to what kind of videos you react to, but NCT has a dance channel and there are some Taeyong's solo dancing stuff, if you'd like to check it out. I would love to hear your opinion on all of the members' dances though! They all have such different styles and that's why I enjoy watching them, always full of surprises.
I really appreciate these reactions, I'm a dancer myself but I only do ballet so I don't really know much about this kind of style lol. Seeing the choreo and performance analyzed from the perspective of a professional is really cool!
honestly, i love how you changed up the way going into this videos, i prefer 100% doing it in 3 parts for different types of reaction, for your analysis part as fans i feel like we should appreciate the input of someone that works or worked on the field in any way, i feel like some parts of the fans should let people "critique" their faves. i, for one, love when ppl point out either the dancing or singing technique and what could have gone different or to make it easier for them. keep at it! you are going very polite at pointing out stuff so don't mind that don't aprreciate any "negative" commentary on their faves.
Wow enjoyed your reaction! and thanks for the analysis; I'm actually learning a lot! It would be cool if you check out other NCT dances such as their debut song "THE 7TH SENSE (performance video)" ... 4 years later and I'm still not over that choreo and song! Another recent one is "Kick It"
Thank you for checking on NCT, They are really amazing, i'm happy you liked them ❤❤❤, i really love your analysis, very clear and professional, we can definitely see you speak with a lot of propriety and never with a sense of superiority (And i also love you don't use too much technical words, i don't know anything about dance so i appreciate 🤣🤣🤣). Please don't forget to react to JO1 and Twice I Can't Stop Me! Fun fact 1: One of the members, Shotaro, was one of the choreographers of this choreography, he was member of a dance academy in Japan, but he became a trainee because SM really liked him so much that decided debuting him with just 3 months of training in Korea Fun fact 2: M! Countdown is one of the main 6 music shows in Korea, These are TV programs where groups and soloists can perform and promote their songs, singles and albuns, and the group or soloist that has the highest punctuation that week (counting streams, sales, social media and views together) gets a prize (We call this a win). NCT got 4 wins with Make a Wish, 2 in m!countdown and the rest in others (Their company, SM, had a beef with MNET, the tv channel that produces M!Countdown, so SM artists never went to M!Countdown since 2017, but they resolved themselves and NCT were the first SM artists performing there after 3 years) Fun fact 2: There's no crowd at all, crowds are still prohibited in Music Shows so all the screams are added later, but before the pandemic a lot of fans used to go together to watch their favourite groups perform and cheer for them with the fanchant, each song has a specific fanchant that we sing to hype up the groups and the song
This was so enjoyable! Thank you, and please react to more NCT dances! I recommend NCT 127’s Cherry Bomb, Firetruck, Kick It, and Simon Says and NCT U’s 7th Sense and Bose. I think you will love these dances! Thanks!
This is choreographed by a 19-year old girl named, Reina Kaneko 🥺 She is so talented. She also choreographed 90's Love (New NCT's Music Video). Also, if you search her battles or dance videos, you can literally see and notice that she choreographed this masterpiece. (I think in KPOP, they usually get two or more choreographies and will just get what they want or will suit the group. So I think there is another choreographer.)
I remember another reactor talking about their angles in Kick it dance practice, I find it funny you’re pointing it out too ! But still nct is such a good dance group, I’m so happy you reacted to them in details. They have a lot of excellent choreos, and I know it’s a lot of hard work to react all of them, so if you have time you should check some of their performances by yourself ! Because their choreos are so interesting and iconic !!
Every dance practice or performance videos of every NCT unit yo will enjoy, I’m sure. 7th sense and Black on Black are my favorites. I went through your videos and saw you don’t know Taemin... that’s surprising as because he is different to a level you can pick him among a 50 dancing silhouettes. Move and Want would be the first two from Taemin I could recommend.
Just want to pop in and say that I like your shirt! NCT is fun to watch for sure! Thanks for the detailed analysis. I'm sure it will help all current and aspiring performers!!
thanks for the awesome analysis!! For more NCT stuff, i highly recommend The 7th Sense, Cherry Bomb, and My First and Last (all NCT choreo classics). My favorite choreo by them though is Wakey Wakey, which is highly underrated but such a complex routine.
Yay I love your reaction to this since NCT is my favorite! Hopefully you react to their other contents! Some of I highly suggest are -Cherry bomb-bomb version -SR15b_0701
If you get the chance, TOTALLY recommend checking out NCT's 90s love!! It's old school 90s hip hop swagger w/ tons of b-boy references that you would love lol
I would like to request for you to make a video about: Taemin: "Idea", "Criminal", "Drip Drop", "Famous" (the formations on that one are insane!) NCT: "The Seventh Sense", "Cherry Bomb" "Black on Black" and "Simon Says" SuperM: "Jopping", "Tiger Inside", "One (Monster & Infinity)"
I enjoyed your whole video analysis. I'm glad you noticed how they don't get much out of breath. The artists of their company (SM entertainment) have said before their training was very hard. And some ex trainees said they had to sing and rap while running or climbing stairs.
Omg I thought I was the only one who saw these little details on their dance practices!! I’ve been a dancer for years too, competing since 2015 and I always notice little “mistakes” they do, but as u said, they still killed it!! We dancers are just too perfectionists 😂 I loved your reaction!!
you reaaaaaaaally will like nct's 7th sense. in variety and reality shows kids avoid covering that song because it's regarded as one of the most difficult choreos in kpop .
The guy who's front and center during the dance break, and whose knees you said shook more than the rest is Shotaro (in the practice video he's wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and a hat). He's actually a professional dancer who trained at a famous Japanese dancing academy and was scouted off of Tik-Tok to become a kpop idol. SM sure knows their talent.
I've spent my Sunday afternoon watching your kpop reaction videos and just wanted to say I really appreciate the way you come across in these! You're constructive, respectful & appreciative without being cheesy. I look forward to working through the rest of your videos.
omg thank you so much, this is exactly the PROFESSIONAL DANCER reaction that I'm looking for, analyse the dance moves and formations etc. instead of praising and focusing on their bias only. Other reactors always ended up neglecting other good dancers like in this case Jaemin, and honestly it's quite frustrating
Hello kabayan! Filozen (filipino nctzen- this is what us filipino nct fans called) here 😉 Mostly in music shows in South Korea when artist having a comeback stage, they are having some short intro. The music used on the freestyle intro is included on NCT 2020 Resonance Pt.1 album called Interlude: Past to Present. For people who are new to NCT, NCT now has 23 members (and counting as their concept is having limitless members). There are 4 sub units on this group: NCT 127 - 10 members (1 inactive, as he is promoting with WayV) they are based on South Korea. The meaning of 127 is the longtitude of Seoul, the city of South Korea NCT Dream - 7 members. They are the young members of NCT. They used to have a graduation system once the member reached 20 years old, they will graduate and will promote to a new unit. But SM Entertainment announced this year that they will no longer use this system and makes NCT Dream a fixed unit. WayV - 7 members. They are based on China and known as NCT China. WayV stands for "We are your Vision" and 1 of the member was also part of NCT 127. NCT U or known as NCT United - there is no fixed member on this unit. Any member can be in this unit based on the concept of the song. I know it sounds complicated but it's okay 🙂 I would recommend the below songs for you to check out: NCT 2018: - Black on Black (they are 18 members on this dance performance) NCT U: 7th Sense (their debut song) -Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyun, Ten, Doyoung Boss - Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyun, Doyoung, Winwin, Lucas, Jungwoo Baby don't Stop - Taeyong and Ten Dream in a Dream - Ten NCT 127 - Firetruck - Limitless - Cherry Bomb (for dance practice, choose the Bomb ver.) - Chain (their Japanese single) - Regular - Simon Says - Superhuman - Kick It - Punch NCT Dream (would def. Recommend you to watch from their debut for you to see how they grow up performing) - Chewing gum - My first and last - We young - Go - We go up - Boom - Ridin WayV - Regular (chinese ver.) - Take off - Moonwalk - Turn back time - Bad alive
Love the way you split this up, definitely would love if you analyzed more NCT songs (they have multiple 'groups' within the main NCT name that have different styles)
18:57 you said he goes into it stronger than anyone else but if you look at everyone else as well.. it looks intentional, the back 4 don't do it at all and the 2 behind him goes up only alittle then he goes up higher, almost like a pyramid thing lol... They do it every performance so I believe that's what it's suppose to look like if you're looking at the small details, it's just the cool choreo ^^
I would really really recommend watching NCT 127's Firetruck next for the choreo. And also the dance videos during predebut (especially 0701) to see what kind of choreo they were trained with
*NCT U is the correct name for this unit as it stands for Neo Culture Technology United (or NCT U).* There are no set members in the unit as anyone from NCT & WayV (and any other new unit names if SM chooses to add to the NCT umbrella in the future) can participate as long as the concept suits them. NCT U has a rotating system of (now) all members of NCT & WayV. *NCT U is the debuting unit and the start of all NCT & WayV units,* and as of right now it is the unit name for when they are adding new members or have special releases with a few members from one of the fixed units (NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV) or a mix from one or two sub-units. *To give a better example (because NCT is an ever-growing entity), think of Neo Culture Technology (or NCT) as a school where they keep accepting more people and adding "classes" and making "clubs".* Rotational units (NCT Dream and NCT U) are like clubs where only some members can participate in those activities (for NCT U it's the whole NCT "school" and for NCT Dream it is only the original 7 member lineup being able to participate) while NCT 127 and WayV are classes where members can be added, but no members will be removed (perhaps only moved to another class, like in WinWin's case from 127 to WayV). Any future fixed units with no rotational system (or graduation system like NCT Dream's used to be) will be new "classes". *Graduation system:* NCT Dream, or the Dreamies, *used* to have a graduation system where once they reached 19 years old and they would graduate from the unit to be added to a new or existing unit. This system was abolished earlier this year and Mark, who had previously graduated, was re-added to the lineup with the change in concept to a rotational system with only the original 7 members (and to my knowledge, no new members can be added to this unit, but that may change if SM decides to debut a new "set" to NCT Dream lineup). ^ There is a likelihood that SM will create a new unit with a graduation system WayV is a unit under the NCT umbrella, however, because of the tense relationship between Korea and China (and China's Hallyu ban) the unit had to debut under a new name (under a new SM sub-label: Label V) and promote separately from the other NCT sub-units until now with the comeback of all NCT members with NCT Resonance pt 1 & 2 and promoting through the NCT U name with the addition of 2 new members (and having the 3 new Chinese members finally join the rest of the NCT members).
this is such a great reaction! i recommend checking out the official choreo fancams for the live performances so the camera doesn't move a lot :) thank you for this! i hope you get to react to more nct and exo~
Love love love your analysis and reaction! I really appreciate the three part reactions you put out. Im not a dancer (but i sure like to dance LOL) but I still learn a lot from your videos! Excited for next weeks video! ( If I could make a suggestion of who to watch next - any choreography by Taemin or Seventeen is *chefs kiss* amazing. my personal favs for Taemin are - Famous, Want, Criminal and Idea, and from Seventeen its Good To Me, Fallin Flower, Getting Closer, and Happy Ending!) Have a good week!
your favourite performer's name is Taeyong by the way and fun fact: he didn't have any dance background before becoming an idol
Yes that's why he's one of my inspirational idol. His hardwork really pay off
hes amazing and he really puts effort forward. i love him so much!!!
LOOOOOVE hearing stories about that. further proves my belief that anyone can become a dancer if you're willing to put in the work.
Really???? Wow... Taeyong is just amazing
Same with Rose of Blackpink...very inspiring

Black on Black! And 7th Sense, Cherry Bomb, Superhuman, Firetruck, Chain, Simon Says, Kick It, etc etc... you really can’t go wrong with NCT
Shotaro is a dancing machine. I just checked his online tiktok and other stuff. This guy is like a legit hip hop pro dancer...incredible...I heard he was discovered by SM through tiktok and asked to audition for them
There's something about Taeyong that makes your eyes directly land on him
taeyong is credited for being a performer who is recognized by several professional choreographers and directors for his amazing talents. he is also someone known by choreographers as someone who pinpoints things in the original choreography that could make the performance look better tailored to the preference of the dancers and the style of the music.
Definitely, I hope to see more from him in NCT❤️💚
i can’t wait for more shotaro 😭😭🥺🥺
If want to check more NCTi highly recommend kick it , simon says , cherry bomb
Cherry Bomb choreo is soo interesting. Love it🍒
@@2MidnightBlue ikr specially the last part
Bomb ver for the exact 👍
was about to say the same, also the 7th sense
@@imxaiiixamazing 7TH SENSE!!!! literally iconic choreo
I hope you react more to NCT and Taeyong, he has a few freestyle videos, would love to know your opinion on them
Haters: Taeyong got all the attention because he's always center
Any rational, objective person ever, pointing at Taeyong in the corner: Look at him!
The choreographer for this song is a 19 YEARS OLD JAPANESE GIRL
I still can't believe it but it's amazing
Really? Sis really popped off!
to think that we have the same age.. but me here don't have talent... hahaha
Ayyye! That's dope. I appreciate you.
It's funny that you mention the "crowd" cause it's just sound effects
I WAS LIED TO!!!
Taeyong is quite a little...svengali.
well actually that show had online audience so it was their voices
@@EmeroyB When Covid's not happening, there is a small crowd at music shows. I know the guys miss having a live audience a lot.
Your fav here Taeyong also has some freestyle dances on the NCT dance channel. I would love your reaction to those too!
"how are they so pretty and masculine at the same time" yo same
The one in jeans is the leader of the group and one of their best dancers.
You'll enjoy his performances.
oh god if you love taeyong here, then you need to watch simon says, boss, cherry bomb, chain, baby don’t stop, kick it, the 7th sense! i promise you, you’re going to fall so deep there will be no escape sksksk jk
but man, he really is such a charismatic performer.
I love how you said falling too deep with no escape cause that's what happened to me 🤣
I love how you said falling too deep with no escape cause that's what happened to me 🤣
Reina Queen Me was a part of the choreography!!
Someone born to be an idol and someone unique like him will never come back.
shows like mnet can be tricky with copyright lol, usually people have to block out the logo etc
Good to know
Hell yeah!! Thank you so much for this detailed reaction! I appreciate so much the attention to detail! The dancer you liked best is called Taeyong, and he really brings it to WHATEVER he's in! You'd love seeing more of him, and we'd love to see you seeing more of him too XD
Taeyong has been dancing only since he was a trainee so for around 9 years, he is the one you liked the most
The one with jeans yu like is Taeyong - leader of the group and visual too, he is super talented and charismatic, in my opinion Taeyong is such a cute person but also very skilled I watched many videos with him dancing, rapping and he has nice voice too, everyone praise him not only for the way he looks but for his talents he loves all members and works very hard to write songs, if you will subscrive to NCT Daily you'll see how much he works and he is super methodical(clean)he is something rare really first when I saw him I thought that he is escaped from japanese anime. I really recommend you Taeyong - long flight - it's sych a nice song!
TYs moves is literally sharp powerful and he expressed the feeling through the moves
Your reaction format is probably my favorite because you really take into consideration that dance practices look different from final performances. The respect for the craft is truly appreciated!
NCT got a lot of nice and hard choreography. Please check them out!
Just looking at their face and body expressions is a whole mood!
that guy is Taeyong as is one of kpop best performers, and most of his difference from the group is actually intentional :D
in that jump section, he doesn't even fit in the 3 man formation, but he is there and he is killing it ;D
Thank you for appreciating NCT and especially Taeyong! 🥺♡
Love how you notice and point out members' individual strengths
"feeling the vibe" kind of stuff? hehe
NCT is like a collective that consists of multiple groups/units! They have 23 members so far :)
I won't go into too much detail, but here are the units:
> NCT 127: 10 members
> NCT Dream: 7 members
> WayV: 7 members
> NCT U: rotational unit, different members from the 23 get to participate based on the song that fits their vibe
Have fun, and take your time with the reactions! Thank you for this one! Will look forward to more!
Their dance don't need to be perfect , they all dance in their own style , this is the main point
19:00 guy in the middle is Shotaro from Japan. He's one of the new members of NCT this is his debut and before he was scouted, he was part of a dance crew and been competing in his country
You will definitely love Taeyong (the guy who's so into it) even more in other nct dance practices im looking forward to it let's goo
i feel like this choreography fits taeyong's dance style really well
I think you pointed out a few times that you really liked the vibe of the one in the middle at 15:36! Fun fact about him, this is his debut with the group but he actually was part of a professional dance team in Japan before joining!
NCT is definitely groove based. They seem to teach all their dancers the same. The NCT brand has that Hip-hop grove
This is actually NCT’s subunit called NCT U so that was correct.
This is one of the most enjoyable 30 minutes long videos i've ever watched!😄 LOVE IT 🥰
honestly, i love how you changed up the way going into this videos, i prefer 100% doing it in 3 parts for different types of reaction, for your analysis part as fans i feel like we should appreciate the input of someone that works or worked on the field in any way, i feel like some parts of the fans should let people "critique" their faves. i, for one, love when ppl point out either the dancing or singing technique and what could have gone different or to make it easier for them. keep at it! you are going very polite at pointing out stuff so don't mind that don't aprreciate any "negative" commentary on their faves.
Wow enjoyed your reaction! and thanks for the analysis; I'm actually learning a lot! It would be cool if you check out other NCT dances such as their debut song "THE 7TH SENSE (performance video)" ... 4 years later and I'm still not over that choreo and song! Another recent one is "Kick It"
Same😄 to me the 7th sense really stands out differently compared to others and l love Kick it too!
Yes, Seventh Sense is my stimulant! The sound n moves will lift up ur existence!
Fun fact 1: One of the members, Shotaro, was one of the choreographers of this choreography, he was member of a dance academy in Japan, but he became a trainee because SM really liked him so much that decided debuting him with just 3 months of training in Korea
Fun fact 2: M! Countdown is one of the main 6 music shows in Korea, These are TV programs where groups and soloists can perform and promote their songs, singles and albuns, and the group or soloist that has the highest punctuation that week (counting streams, sales, social media and views together) gets a prize (We call this a win). NCT got 4 wins with Make a Wish, 2 in m!countdown and the rest in others (Their company, SM, had a beef with MNET, the tv channel that produces M!Countdown, so SM artists never went to M!Countdown since 2017, but they resolved themselves and NCT were the first SM artists performing there after 3 years)
Fun fact 2: There's no crowd at all, crowds are still prohibited in Music Shows so all the screams are added later, but before the pandemic a lot of fans used to go together to watch their favourite groups perform and cheer for them with the fanchant, each song has a specific fanchant that we sing to hype up the groups and the song
nct are like, the KINGS of groove
Song of the year and Choreo of the year, NCT fighting! 🔥
thanks for the awesome analysis!!
Some of I highly suggest are
-Cherry bomb-bomb version
-SR15b_0701
up
Yes! Especially Cherry bomb and simon says
love to see people appreciating all the years that led up to this performance :’)
If you get the chance, TOTALLY recommend checking out NCT's 90s love!! It's old school 90s hip hop swagger w/ tons of b-boy references that you would love lol
Taeyong carisma is no joke
I'm OBSESSED with the rehearsal analysis I'm literally watching all the videos 💀💀
I would like to request for you to make a video about:
Taemin: "Idea", "Criminal", "Drip Drop", "Famous" (the formations on that one are insane!)
NCT: "The Seventh Sense", "Cherry Bomb" "Black on Black" and "Simon Says"
SuperM: "Jopping", "Tiger Inside", "One (Monster & Infinity)"
Looking forward to more NCT reactions. NCT, if not the best, is one of the best group in KPOP when it comes to choreography and performance.
This is a really great, in depth analysis. Props to you!
Knowing that Jaehyun and Taeyong never left the floor once during the dance just shows their stamina
omg thank you so much, this is exactly the PROFESSIONAL DANCER reaction that I'm looking for, analyse the dance moves and formations etc. instead of praising and focusing on their bias only. Other reactors always ended up neglecting other good dancers like in this case Jaemin, and honestly it's quite frustrating
“Taemin- Criminal” next PLEASE!!!!!!
Hello kabayan! Filozen (filipino nctzen- this is what us filipino nct fans called) here 😉
Mostly in music shows in South Korea when artist having a comeback stage, they are having some short intro. The music used on the freestyle intro is included on NCT 2020 Resonance Pt.1 album called Interlude: Past to Present.
For people who are new to NCT, NCT now has 23 members (and counting as their concept is having limitless members). There are 4 sub units on this group:
NCT 127 - 10 members (1 inactive, as he is promoting with WayV) they are based on South Korea. The meaning of 127 is the longtitude of Seoul, the city of South Korea
NCT Dream - 7 members.
I know it sounds complicated but it's okay 🙂
I would recommend the below songs for you to check out:
NCT 2018:
- Black on Black (they are 18 members on this dance performance)
NCT U:
7th Sense (their debut song) -Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyun, Ten, Doyoung
Boss - Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyun, Doyoung, Winwin, Lucas, Jungwoo
Baby don't Stop - Taeyong and Ten
Dream in a Dream - Ten
NCT 127
- Firetruck
- Limitless
- Cherry Bomb (for dance practice, choose the Bomb ver.)
- Chain (their Japanese single)
- Regular
- Simon Says
- Superhuman
- Kick It
- Punch
NCT Dream (would def. Recommend you to watch from their debut for you to see how they grow up performing)
- Chewing gum
- My first and last
- We young
- Go
- We go up
- Boom
- Ridin
WayV
- Regular (chinese ver.)
- Take off
- Moonwalk
- Turn back time
- Bad alive
Yoo.. more Nct you won’t be disappointed
Love the way you split this up, definitely would love if you analyzed more NCT songs (they have multiple 'groups' within the main NCT name that have different styles)
You should react to nct chain it’s literally one of the hardest dances I’ve seen
Seriously, you can watch anything from NCT/WayV and you will love it. They are amazing performers. All 23 of them.
Loved the analysis, and just to mention you were correct when you said NCT U, it is the ever-changing sub unit of NCT (also NCT127 and NCT Dream)
You definitely need to react to nct 127 regular dance practice! I find it so satisfying
Sir if you like taeyong you should watch more of his performances, his stage presence? He’s possessed sir 🥵 his cherry bomb era was scary
I would really really recommend watching NCT 127's Firetruck next for the choreo. And also the dance videos during predebut (especially 0701) to see what kind of choreo they were trained with
hope you're all enjoying reaction week! support the kickstarter if you can. any amount helps!

^ There is a likelihood that SM will create a new unit with a graduation system
WayV is a unit under the NCT umbrella, however, because of the tense relationship between Korea and China (and China's Hallyu ban) the unit had to debut under a new name (under a new SM sub-label: Label V) and promote separately from the other NCT sub-units until now with the comeback of all NCT members with NCT Resonance pt 1 & 2 and promoting through the NCT U name with the addition of 2 new members (and having the 3 new Chinese members finally join the rest of the NCT members).
Love the analysis!
if you want more nct, i really recommend cherry bomb and 7th sense. it was really good
this is such a great reaction! i recommend checking out the official choreo fancams for the live performances so the camera doesn't move a lot :) thank you for this! i hope you get to react to more nct and exo~
