- We wanted an epic all-inclusive beach day for our group cruisers to enjoy. Boy did we find it in Allegro Cozumel. What an amazing resort and the crazy thing is, we had never heard of it. They have a beautiful beach, great food, awesome drinks, and top-notch staff!
We can't wait to visit them again! It will become our go-to place in Cozumel!

I am looking at this resort for our group of 18 in October. I have reached out to the resort with questions but have not heard back yet. Thought maybe you could help. On the website we are looking to book the day pass through, it says alcohol will not be served until 12p local time. Was that how it was when you went? Do they have server's deliver drinks to you? Are towels included? Thank you for any help you can provide.
1st off, Amanda that is a cute bathing suit! We absolutely love the pampering of an all in inclusive resort. Swim up bars are the best! Yes it did look like u were at a green screen at the beach in snorkel gear, so beautiful.

Oh great! We love Mexico too! It does get a bad name, and for some good reasons, but we do love the people and places in Mexico. We have always felt safe. Its always to affordable for what you get.

Thats fantastic! You will have a great time! We arrived on the cruise ship dock, so I think you will be arriving at a different place. There should be quite a few taxis waiting for you. I wouldnt pay more than 500 pesos each way if you can help it.

I do have a couple of questions. Does the resort offer lockers and are there any private warm water showers or just showers by the pool? Would you say that the beach is good for young children? I think I saw some rocks.
Hi! think there were lockers by the SCUBA area, but may be wrong. We are not sure about the showers either, unfortunately. It might be best to email them as they respond quickly. The beach would be great for kids. We dont remember many rocks, but there was seaweed in some places.
I know its good when I see Amanda cheesin it up so much! Yaaasss hah if I werent so scared, id go! The snorkeling looked like so much funnn! I cant believe I havent gotten a chance to do that yet! And great lookout with the drone, Amanda! haha... that could have gone very bad! ;p

We tend to think that Allegro was better. Mr. Sanchos had food delivery on the beach and more watistaff, but Allegro was a lot high quality resort overall.

Hello! We had a group rate, but I think its around $60-80. Its all inclusive and about 15 minutes from the port. More upscale than the other day pass areas around.

I always wonder what is the appropriate tip for a bartender that looks after you all day at an all inclusive?
I tip just like I would at home. For me that's about $1 a round. I think it depends on what your order though. We get a beer. Easy. If you're ordering blended drinks all day, maybe tip more.
What we usually do for an all inclusive, is tip at the beginning. We tend to give a $20 for the both of us. That usually guarantees top notch service. If they keep it up the whole time, we tip again at the end, but usually not as much. We do the same for our cabin attendants on the cruises.
In this case, there were a few different guys and we were sitting near the bar. We thought that they shared the tips, so I put the $20 in the jar at the beginning. As you can see from the videos, it worked pretty well, lol. The bartender was inventing drinks for us.
Car Ric is spot on though. You can generally figure about a dollar a drink.
