I am a strong fan of the old Victorian Railways blue and yellow livery, the best I think, followed by the VLine tangerine. Nice to see Y102 running, hope they repaint into the VLine tangerine livery. Great video, straight to the point and no excessive zooming or wobbles, value!😉
SRHC have managed to add a few resto projects to the list in the last 5/10years, but also received some working condition H Sets to utilize as passenger cars (with AC 🥵) Great to see how much the volunteers have accomplished, and props to you for the time you donated 👍
Streamliners Australia made the right choice to choose SRHC to finish the restoration of CL17. Those are some epic views of their open day. C501 and CL17 sure are legendary diesels
Seymour a skeleton now compared to the eighties' when I was an engineman at South Dynon loco and ran numerous passenger and goods trains there yard pilots and big yard then and busy loco depot spun our loco many times on the turntable at Seymour refreshment rooms as well
Like most rail precincts you're absolutely right, it's certainly decreased in size. In saying that it's great to see SRHC keeping the place alive - although a shell of its heyday.
The Open Days like this are annual, but the SRHC Volunteers are always happy to take people for a tour (just have to call in advance, no set opening times)

There's a lot more there than there was when I did some volunteer work there

@@RailAustralia, apparently they're going to get another h set soon. At least one of the carriages will run with the drc once it's reactivated
