This looks AMAZING!!! such a clever idea to just make the thing but make it modern and wearable!! A touch of whimsy and a coat like no others! Love this!
Please do a video tutorial showing us how to install a zip into a garment (or even scrap fabric) without pinning or basting. Not using pins or basting to install a zip is new to me and not something that shown elsewhere on youtube.

Sure, I'll do that!! It's super easy when it's nice stable cotton fabric, less easy when it's stretchy or slippery!!

With the double thickness on pattern A. Do you know if it is both Pattern side up or is it pattern side down and pattern side up?
I have done patterns with folds but this is the first time I have worked with double thickness
