I had been wanting to own one for a few years and I got one on sale for $149.00 on the Dooney website in the Jeans blue. I don’t normally wear crossbody bags but the strap drop on this one is perfection for a tall plus size girlie like me. Congrats on your new handbag, Caleb. I want a Ricky like your newest one. I have a very simple Ralph Lauren bag that I bought several years ago at an online sale on top of clearance. I LOVE it. I can't afford an Hermes bag yet, but I love Hermes scarves and I've purchased two this year second hand, one 90 and one 45. Cheers!

So Caleb.....I thought it would be apt to share considering your RL bucket bag has an 80s'esque vibe what with the tasseling. Roughly a year ago I personally asked for your advice with help on choosing my first designer bag. I was transfixed on LV. I also researched other fashion houses i.e. Fendi, Vivienne Westwood & a few others. I was taking my time not to rush. Then, whist I was scanning for a Gucci wallet for a girl friend's Christmas present I came upon the most gorgeous bag that had that retro look I was hoping to find. I'm an 80s fashion freak so this bag was utterly perfect to complement my vintage, retro wardrobe. So, just this week I finally decided on the Gucci/Adidas collaboration, small duffle bag in black with white text & that eye catching red, white & blue Adidas monogram print on the interior lining.I also treated meself to the mini cross shoulder purse bag with gold hardware horse bit that sits over the Adidas logo & just slid out the strap to use as my wallet. I can't tell you how pleased I am with both of these buys especially the bag it's self. The classic Gucci burgundy & forest green fabric strap with the antique gold metal hardware & black leather trim to accompany the bag is just stunning & so comfortable to wear over the shoulder. I realise this design of bag probably isn't quite your 'thang' but I just wanted to share my first foray into high calibre bag shopping with you. You did advise me to keep my first purchase on the more classic design & colour way to which I adhered to. I'd like to thank you for taking the time for your reply to me all those months ago.
