Ilha Grande | Brazil’s answer to a Thailand island

Ilha Grande - which literally translates to Big Island - is a tropical island just off the coast of Rio de Janeiro state and is about 160 kilometres from Copacabana.
We took a van from Rio to Angra dos Reis to get a ferry over to Ilha Grande. It’s our favourite island we’ve ever visited, watch until the end to find out why!
Beaches, an abandoned prison, no cars, hiking, wildlife, and close encounters with the islands dangerous plants. It really does have it all.

We're a couple from the UK (Alex is from Wales and Hannah is from Scotland).
We've been travelling for the past 9 years, visiting over 60 countries combined. Alex is currently studying coding and teaches English online whilst Hannah works in social media remotely.

Infelizmente vocês perderam um passeio de barco por várias praias, e tem uma praia, que pra mim foi a praia mais linda que já fui, que é a praia do dentista. Parece q vc tá nas Maldivas, foi espetacular

@@fernandoemiliao fiz aquele passeio q foi em toda a ilha na frente. A praia mais top foi a do dentista. Água transparente. Só chega de lancha lá mesmo. A parte de trás fui naquela Mendes alguma coisa. Fui a pé , muito bonita mas mar agitado, água remexida não tava azulzinha. Praia boa, mas a do dentista achei bem melhor. Outras praias da parte de trás não conheci. Falaram q não valia a pena. Era caro e q as. Outras eram melhores

@@dentdaniel porra mano infelizmente não te falaram a real, pode pesquisar aí, aventureiro Ilha grande, parnaioca ilha grande e gruta do acaia ilha grande, foi pra Lopes Mendes que é perto do aventureiro e parnaioca, infelizmente você deu azar porque lá é lindo demais. Sobre dentista ela fica na ilha da gipoia que é menor e mais perto do continente não fica na ilha grande, é uma praia bonita só que longe de ser linda iguais a que eu te falei, a praia do dentista é muito falada por causa dos burguêses que ficam lá de lancha um do lado do outro em uma ostentação de ego.
