Nice to see Nalasopara as an important town in ancient silk road . This was the time when there was no Mumbai or Surat but Nalasopara was the trading town.
Infact in Bible there is a mention of opher as a town which is Nalasopara. There was a port and gold was exported from this town and there still exists a stupa at sopara . Besides there is an ancient temple @ Nirmal gav.
Wonderful sites exists , hope Maharashtra government develops this town as an important tourist destination.
