Great video!! I want one 😎☕️👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I think you need more light in this room
Yeah it was good on our phone camera but bad on the live stream for some reason
The DF grinders are made by Ningbo Frigga, the machine is not made by them even though they are sold via the same brand
How about compared to the rancilio Silvia
Does anyone know where to get a single hole steam tip for the Turin Lagoto?
I’m not sure but I think it’s a fairly common size thread
Is it worth replacing the shower screen with a after market one or is the stock one ok ?
I tried an IMS screen. Stock was better, IMO.
@@randyr55 thanks for the info I was thinking the water flo is pretty good but wanted to know if anyone else has tied it. I will save my money thanks!
Hello, does this one have OPV installed?
Yeah it’s internal
Joey can you see if you can find a way to set max pressure to 9 bar on the OPV. Not sure if that’s possible with this machine. I’ve been hovering around 12 for most shots. BTW the screw on the bottom is for water debit.
@@biondolg1 nice yeah I’ll have to take a look when pulling it a part
Pre-infusion doesn't work. It's interesting that all these TH-cam videos over the past few months have been raving about the Turin, MiiCoffee, Gemilai... that has been around for the past 5 years. So, why now? My guess is that Turin (Espresso Outlets house brand, and really the only thing they almost ever have in stock) is trying to capitalize on the recent success of the DF64 grinder. And all these TH-camr's are, shock, probably bought and paid for? Gaggia Killer? Maybe version 2 or 3, but not this.
The non-adjustable OPV is a deal breaker
Hmmm interesting I guess I haven’t looked at that but it’s set for me at 9 bars so I guess I was fine.
@@JoeyVaracalliin other countries it's sold as 15bar
@@kenvme ohhh that’s odd
Not only is it not adjustable, it's not set at 9 bar Joey.
@@tomscott4438 I adjusted using the screw on the bottom. By adjusting flow u can easily achieve 9 bars of pressure
Nobody kills a gaggia ! Ok maby a Nuclear Bomb , but then you need a 500 pouder not a 100 pounder.
Joe, you are misleading the audience. This machine is made in China and sold under random names. The manufacturer is not the same as the one that makes the DF64 grinder. The machine does not have a solenoid valve, an adjustable OPV, and has very weak steam power. This machine is far from being a Gaggia Classic killer."
Mic drop 🎤
Interesting I mean so maybe Joe from the espresso outlet is just selling it under the same name as the DF64. The steam was fine for me wasn’t crazy powerful but was definitely consistent and didn’t loose pressure like my gaggia did. In terms of over pressure that may be correct I never opened the machine up but you can adjust the flow with the screw I mention in this video
The screw is flow control. Not pressure
20 minutes in and still dont know what size portafilter baskets this group head uses
58mm
Sadly, the shallow and incorrect information you give is both wrong and misleading.
#fakenews lol…. Honestly though if you could elaborate that would be more helpful so I can maybe make some changes in my newer videos
@@JoeyVaracalli Ok... Pre-infusion is worthless. The "timer' function doesn't regulate the flow, it just delays the shot. It's at full pressure, but short duration. The pressure is set at 15 bar. There is no OPV valve, regulator, or limiter. Steam is by thermal block, but cannot be used while it's brewing. The screw doesn't control pressure, it controls flow rate.
