The wheels on this car in the video are 18 inch breschia alloys and are optional extra. the milton keynes are 17 inch standard alloys. good and honest review i think. i've got a 2018 red polo gti and love it to bits
I really love your reviewing style - clear, concise and a little bit of fun and not taking yourself too seriously. One of the best reviewers around, at least for this type of car. Quite impressed with the car too and love how they didn't just plonk a tablet on the dash as an afterthought.
I think they look good but I took the 17" because I will put them for my winter tire set and buy some aftermarket wheels for summer. And yes I took the sport select, it basically allows you to customize your own driving mode. Still waiting for my Gti because of the WLTP...@Dapdoi Ardon
Infelizmente no Brasil não temos a versão GTI e a Volks lançou um Polo simplificado, retirando a maioria dos itens que são oferecidos na Europa e outros mercados.
The base car at $31k + OR is acceptable especially if VWA do an introductory price of $1k for the on roads. Where bangs per buck starts to fall away (read nose-dive), is when you add the costs of the optional extra packages. A fully loaded GTI is $38k + OR. That price adds substantially to your stamp duty and comprehensive insurance so no change from $40k...that's a lot of $$$ for a small car...highly spec'd...but...
All right hand drive Polos come from South Africa. In Australia the standard warranty is three years. There are additional extended warranties (insurance policies), that give you an extra two years for a total of five.
so its now the same size as the original golf GTI from back in the day , as the modern GTI has become bloated and bigger like the new civic Type R . if you look at the old models the new models look like giants, So if you want modern tech with the real feel of the first GTI's the POLO is the best GOLF GTI today hahahaha

Best honest review I've seen for this car
The wheels are optional 18" Brescia, otherwise great review! I just ordered my Polo GTI:)

That's a gorgeous colour!
Great review - it really looked like you were enjoying yourself.
Another Enjoyable review Mr Berry.
In the headlights are two lamps, the outside lamps are for low and high beam. What are the inside lamps for?
I’d love to see a head to head with the A1 40TFSI. Basically the same car but $12k ish more

Very curious your opinion what are top 3 models of polo?
Cheeky git, nothing wrong with Milton Keynes!
Funny looking 17 inch rims. No ones perfect but 18 brescia rims in this review, Good review tho :)
Where’s Tom!? 🤗
Hey... Looking around the cabin....n all I see if the dude's face...
Please show more of the actual car next time.
No manual seriously
Not until 2019, and if VWA imports them.
Trunk-size with Beats-soundsystem and spare-tyre is 240l.
Is beats as good as gti ? What would be top 3 models of polo and which best engine?
you mean 350 liter for the boot space??
Nope, the GTI only has 305liters, as the battery sits in the trunk.

Love the little polo GTi , however it’s now as expensive as a golf GTi. Golf all the way
There's about a £10,000 difference mate
