A bathroom whodunnit developed at my old workplace after someone left a large pile of shaved pubic hair on a toilet seat in the gents. It was very intriguing at the time.
There’s fiber lint brushes, you brush one way to catch lint/hair etc. and brush the other way with your hand to clean them off. They take a couple more passes than a sticky one and you have to be careful to only brush one way, but the reusability makes ‘em worth it imo!
I have one where it automatically gets the hair off when you roll it back, then collects it in a little container in the handle. So you just go back and forth and it cleans itself. Only works if the fabric doesn't move along though. Can't use it on blankets and clothes.

You need The Furminator. It's a reusable lint brush and it's a game changer for our household. It takes care of our clothes, duvet covers, small rugs, and pet beds. I hate that I sound like an infomercial testimonial but a good product is a good product.
To remedy Olympia's gripes with lint rollers, I recommend a stain brush/fabric brush. They're a lot better than those faulty glue strips and aren't so wasteful either.
Nova, I am COMPLETELY with you! I LOVE seeing Halloween stuff in stores too! Halloween has always been my favorite holiday and even though I already have a ton of stuff for Halloween, I buy more every year anyway. And the reason that I believe that stores have started putting holiday stuff out earlier and earlier is because they have figured out that people buy it as soon as they see it. If you don't buy the latest trendy things as soon as you see them, then they will sell out and you won't get them. I live in the US, in the state of Ohio, and that's how it is here. When Halloween items hit the stores then I immediately go and see what they have. Otherwise it will be sold out well before October.

There is a very large non-chain costume shop in Hollywood. The people are helpful, and you can browse around as long as you like. Their selections in masks, wigs, costumes, prosthetics and makeup are jaw dropping. Maybe it the size of the store that makes a difference?

A local costume shop I've been to a handful of times, the woman inside is very insistent that all your bags be left at the front, which granted isn't too unusual. But her entire stock it seems, is dusty, yellowed, and, at a minimum, twenty years old. No one's gonna steal your relics. You can find better quality digging through the dumpster behind party city. But every couple of years I'll go back, just to marvel how ancient everything is.

Omg the party store owner thing! So I did two seasons at Halloween Alley here in Canada. It's basically Spirit Halloween. First season was great. The store operators were chill, they let me run the change room, it was just zipping people into costumes and telling them if it was hot or not. Great time. So much glitter. Second season this crazy rude b*tch took over. She installed cameras EVERYWHERE, including ones that took audio. Wouldn't let us in the back stock room, she put up motion sensors in there lol And expected her staff to be patted down before they could leave the building. She gave us each a section and we were supposed to basically interrogate anyone that walked in our section and stalk them the whole time. Then walkie talkie the next section they went in so they could do the same. It was madness. She also called a staff meeting one day, gathered us all in a circle, then she walked off and came back over and started pulling things out of her coat and pants talking about how easy it was to shoplift all that. As if we were supposed to stop her while we were waiting in the circle she put us in 😂😂😂
I was in Lloret De Mar couple weeks ago and all they played in every bar and club was Loreen tattoo the original dance version it was honestly great already loved it her but I'm a super fan now 😂 shame that that the uk doesn't give praise to these foreign singers when it's due! should be played here a lot more
