It is not shorter compared to a kia sonet. Sonet rear seat can barely accomodate 2 people. This has longer wheelbase then sonet and better space for passengers. In this segment only cherry tiggo 4 has more space then this.

3xO grind clearance and power is better. Engine is also pretty reliable. Mahindras are a work horse brand.
Suzuki has better service in South Africa.
So you can weigh the pros and cons for both.
