mmm, York peppermint patties were my favourite as a kid. (grew up in Ontario). They usually come individually wrapped in foil. Hence why your mini brand minis are listed as "unwrapped" so instead of getting a bigger one and having to unwrap it, you can just grab a handful & in your mouth they go. Soo minty and "cooling". yum
Because of you, I've been wanting to buy mini brands stuff because they're so stinking cute. My boyfriend, at work one day, saw this advent calendar and told me about it. Because of my excitement, about a week later he got it on sale for $16 and watched me excitedly open every door and thought it was adorable. I got a metalic, a glow in the dark, and a gold.... But my favorite was the mini tub of dumdums lolipops because it was so much cuter than the rest.
I'm used to the chocolate advent calendars, but last year I had gotten a Funko Pop 13 days of horror that had mini funko pop horror movie characters in it. I loved it! This year I hope to come across the Nightmare Before Christmas Funko Pop advent calendar again.

Yesterday, December 10, I saw this advent calendar at Sam's Club on sale for $9 and some change. Since this is non perishable item anybody could buy it and keep for next Christmas if you want it as an advent calendar. Also if you are a collector could buy and enjoy your mini brands now. I was going to buy a second one for my granddaughter so she can add more mini brands to her collection. I'm very happy I didn't buy because I had seen two unboxing of this calendar and both had the same mini brand, not even one different.

The package stated you get 6 exclusive items - it did not state they were behind the "gold" numbers. The gold stars were simply a design on the packaging. :)
I think the stars are put next to the images of the exclusive items. The dum-dum box has a star next to the picture of it so I think that that is how you can determine whether they are exclusive or not.
The gold number do mean they are the exclusive items. When they say exclusive it means that u can only get those in that package. U can’t get the exclusive ones in the mini brand balls
Also if you do end up trying York patties be warned that they are AGGRESSIVELY minty! The chocolate coating is really more there to protect the inner mint part and you barely taste it when you eat it.

Possibly it was a showing of what would come in but not in any particular order, so the golden spots were just showing what may be special but they are randomized in placement. But even I may be confusing myself lol
We had Royal gelatin where I live (US, Indiana) until a year or two ago! It's less expensive than Jell-O, but not quite a store brand. It was pretty good stuff!

Drinking chocolate milk is a pretty popular thing in my home. But... when I was little my mother would make me a smoothie/milkshake type deal with the strawberry syrup. Ice, milk, and strawberry syrup in the blender 😍 Delicious, and I make it for my children now as well 😋
Yeah i used to work at a burger place next to a health and fitness supplement store. They got discounts for burgers and i got healthy stuff for a discount. Loved it, especially the health bars there
Just placed an order for one of the remaining kits. I wanted to mention also with the 5 surprise balls, one of the items is always either a basket, cart, shelf, cash register, something like that; not an actual buyable good. So taking that into consideration you do get a bit more buyable goods in the advent calendar because there’s not a repeat of some sort of utility every 5 days.
Here in the UK Love Hearts come in a plastic wrapper but you can get them in a big cardboard tube for Christmas. The one you got had a bow on the packaging too so that's probably a Christmas exclusive one
I also got this calendar and waited until I was finished to watch this video. It looks like we got the exact same items. I too was a little bummed it was more boxes than anything but they’ll work nicely in my daughters American Girl kitchen.
As an Amerigrain, York Peppermint Patties are _everywhere_. They are an acquired taste. I hated them as a kid but I like them now. They make good Christmas candy because chocolate and peppermint. Also, my birthday number is also 21! Hooray! :D
I kinda had the opposite experience - I loved them when I was young, but over the years I decided I don't really like dark chocolate, and I've also developed a huge aversion to mint-flavored things...you can have all my York Peppermint Patties lmao.

Mine was the 6th and it was the Golden Crisp cereal. I loved that growing up. All of our advent calendar’s growing up we’re filled with German Chocolate (my dad was Air Force and we were stationed there) and they were amazing. If I had to choose a not so great gift it would have been clothes from my grandmother. They never fit right and were usually plaid. I loved her so made sure to wear them the rest of Christmas Day even though she was in the United States and we were in Germany. I wanted every Christmas Day picture to have me wearing what she sent me. Now I’m back in the US and always find it hard to get my kids and grandkids the same advent calendars I grew up with, but I do manage to find them every year with a lot of searching and help from friends and family in other states and towns!
My parents got the basic chocolate advent calendars for my sister and I for years, and I loved them! Two years ago, I bought a Schlich Dinosaur calendar and it was pretty awesome.
The Hershey products can come in big bags of individual wrapped mini chocolate bars, not just only the single serve bars. Also, Mom's Best Cereal is a healthier version of the Kellogg sugary goodness.
I bought some of the regular packages of these because I really think they're super cute. My one main peeve is that the "products" aren't even in scale with themselves. I'm a 1:6 collector, some are to scale but then the spices are jello are HUGE! I love the idea of these, but for the price I wish the designer was more consistent with their scaling.
Hershey's special dark chocolate chips are amazing in chocolate chip cookies. It gives them a while new taste to them. After I had them for the first time I was hooked and couldn't go back to milk chocolate chips.
That strawberry Hershey's syrup looks so good, Hershey should adopt that look. Also my birthday is a 23rd, so yay for ripoff of a list as a present 😂 Damn, I wish that I could manifest things the way that you do, though. Or maybe not, because I tend to be pretty pessimistic, and I don't need more disasters in my life lmao.
Also, Hershey’s makes another syrup flavor and it’s called “coffee” flavor. I remember drinking it when I was little. Just tastes like coffee flavored ice cream.
I remember having Otterpops when growing up here in the USA. So many cuts (very small minor cuts Others who have had these would be able to probably explain it better.) on the corners of my mouth... lips...area due to the plastic x3 but oh so yummy. 10/10 would happily do it again. Yeah.. Kinda shocked how after so many years.. They never changed the plastic. Still super stiff and causing corner of mouth cuts. I remember getting the plastic stuck between my teeth from biting on it. Plastic that goes in the mouth shouldnt be that hard lol.

I’m in the UK, specifically England. Swizzles (the bag of lollies & the love hearts) are what I would consider our main brand for sweets. Iconic to the point of “drumsticks” (one of the types of lollies) being used as a descriptor for a white Brit’s post-holiday sunburn “tan-line” because the colour is half white half pink. Other than that the only ones I recognised I recognise from the “american sweets” section at the supermarket lol PS: would love a video of you collecting the real size versions of these and trying them all! Edit: I told a lie! I also know pez. Never liked the sweets but convinced myself I did because I used to love the dispensers so much & you could get so many cool characters. As someone who lives 20mins away from Hershey, PA, the special dark is a giant bar as is the Mr. Goodbar. Also, York Peppermint Patties are produced by Hershey too.
Who needs strawberry syrup when I made myself a couple jars of strawberry sauce, homemade and I can mix in the milk and enjoy it with the berry chunks! ^^
The Love Hearts isn’t a Smarties type of thing. They’re popular- or at least used to be- as a cheap Valentines Day candy for children to give out. They kind of have a chalky taste to them more like the sugar sticks in Fun Dip, but you can also taste the red dye in them so they also have a slightly bitter taste as well.
@🍂fall🍂 Maybe they are different there? I remember them having a completely different texture, hardness, and taste to Smarties. Smarties and their variants tend to have that citrus taste to them from the citric acid and Love Hearts don’t have that. They’re more just compacted sugar and dye.
The Mom's best cereal are generally healthy, I think they might all be gluten free. I have seen them at target and health conscious grocery stores. They are aren't generic but actually more premium.

Hershey's Strawberry over Chocolate. However I do love to put White Chocolate Powdered Cocoa mix into my Coffee to help flavour it!... I do a Soup mug sized coffee with 5 spoons of French Vanilla Coffee mix, 3 spoons of white Chocolate Cocoa Mix & 2 glugs of Giradeli's Caramel Syrup. Add hot water & Stir! Thats my favorite Coffee Flavor!

I know almost everything you opened, so most are available in the US. Heath Bars and Skor are both available here. I don't remember how close they are, but I seem to recall both can break your teeth if you bite into them. 😂 Do you have Butterfinger candy bars? They taste really good but again, can break your teeth. It has a hard, kind of buttery, creamy candy inside. It's really good, and you can crumble it up, and add it as a topping to ice cream, etc. Dum Dums are yummy, but much smaller than your usual lollipops. Oh!And my number is 4.
Chocolate milk for me. I had a crazy spin with strawberry milk in my midteens and at one point smart me decided to have that with a biiiiig plate of cookies and lets just say it scarred me for life the enext day as it incapacitated me for the whole day! Strawberry anything makes me sick now.

Personally, I like strawberry/pink milk better, but when I was little, I use to mix the chocolate and strawberry syrups. Don't remember what it tasted like, though. But as a kid, I loved the vanilla Nesquick powder, that was my absolute favorite. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure they discontinued it.
Now I, as a curious German grain, have to ask: why do Americans say that warheads are extremely sour? I had a few different versions of warheads that claim to be extremely sour, but they're just sweet. Not even a little bit sour. And I can't even say that they produce them some other way over here because you they don't produce them here (at least in Germany) and the back side says that it's made in the USA. So can someone please tell me what's up with that? If someone wants to try candy I think is sour, try center shock (don't know if it's a thing outside of Germany)
I could be wrong but my thought on that is its a comparison thing. Most American versions of foods are sweeter than the same thing elsewhere. When your baseline is everything being very sweet, a candy that is slightly sour will seem more so in comparison.
Is it possible that the version that’s sold internationally and the version sold in the US are different? I know the US allows a lot of ingredients that other countries don’t.

I kinda had the opposite experience - I loved them when I was young, but over the years I decided I don't really like dark chocolate, and I've also developed a huge aversion to mint-flavored things...you can have all my York Peppermint Patties lmao.

Mine was the 6th and it was the Golden Crisp cereal. I loved that growing up.
All of our advent calendar’s growing up we’re filled with German Chocolate (my dad was Air Force and we were stationed there) and they were amazing. If I had to choose a not so great gift it would have been clothes from my grandmother. They never fit right and were usually plaid. I loved her so made sure to wear them the rest of Christmas Day even though she was in the United States and we were in Germany. I wanted every Christmas Day picture to have me wearing what she sent me.
Now I’m back in the US and always find it hard to get my kids and grandkids the same advent calendars I grew up with, but I do manage to find them every year with a lot of searching and help from friends and family in other states and towns!

I bought some of the regular packages of these because I really think they're super cute. My one main peeve is that the "products" aren't even in scale with themselves. I'm a 1:6 collector, some are to scale but then the spices are jello are HUGE! I love the idea of these, but for the price I wish the designer was more consistent with their scaling.
Hershey's special dark chocolate chips are amazing in chocolate chip cookies. It gives them a while new taste to them. After I had them for the first time I was hooked and couldn't go back to milk chocolate chips.

I remember having Otterpops when growing up here in the USA. So many cuts (very small minor cuts Others who have had these would be able to probably explain it better.) on the corners of my mouth... lips...area due to the plastic x3 but oh so yummy. 10/10 would happily do it again.

Yeah.. Kinda shocked how after so many years.. They never changed the plastic. Still super stiff and causing corner of mouth cuts. I remember getting the plastic stuck between my teeth from biting on it. Plastic that goes in the mouth shouldnt be that hard lol.

I’m in the UK, specifically England. Swizzles (the bag of lollies & the love hearts) are what I would consider our main brand for sweets. Iconic to the point of “drumsticks” (one of the types of lollies) being used as a descriptor for a white Brit’s post-holiday sunburn “tan-line” because the colour is half white half pink. Other than that the only ones I recognised I recognise from the “american sweets” section at the supermarket lol

Who needs strawberry syrup when I made myself a couple jars of strawberry sauce, homemade and I can mix in the milk and enjoy it with the berry chunks! ^^
The Love Hearts isn’t a Smarties type of thing. They’re popular- or at least used to be- as a cheap Valentines Day candy for children to give out. They kind of have a chalky taste to them more like the sugar sticks in Fun Dip, but you can also taste the red dye in them so they also have a slightly bitter taste as well.

@🍂fall🍂 Maybe they are different there? I remember them having a completely different texture, hardness, and taste to Smarties. Smarties and their variants tend to have that citrus taste to them from the citric acid and Love Hearts don’t have that. They’re more just compacted sugar and dye.

The Mom's best cereal are generally healthy, I think they might all be gluten free. I have seen them at target and health conscious grocery stores. They are aren't generic but actually more premium.

Hershey's Strawberry over Chocolate. However I do love to put White Chocolate Powdered Cocoa mix into my Coffee to help flavour it!... I do a Soup mug sized coffee with 5 spoons of French Vanilla Coffee mix, 3 spoons of white Chocolate Cocoa Mix & 2 glugs of Giradeli's Caramel Syrup. Add hot water & Stir! Thats my favorite Coffee Flavor!

I know almost everything you opened, so most are available in the US. Heath Bars and Skor are both available here. I don't remember how close they are, but I seem to recall both can break your teeth if you bite into them. 😂 Do you have Butterfinger candy bars? They taste really good but again, can break your teeth. It has a hard, kind of buttery, creamy candy inside. It's really good, and you can crumble it up, and add it as a topping to ice cream, etc.
Dum Dums are yummy, but much smaller than your usual lollipops.

Personally, I like strawberry/pink milk better, but when I was little, I use to mix the chocolate and strawberry syrups. Don't remember what it tasted like, though. But as a kid, I loved the vanilla Nesquick powder, that was my absolute favorite. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure they discontinued it.

Now I, as a curious German grain, have to ask: why do Americans say that warheads are extremely sour? I had a few different versions of warheads that claim to be extremely sour, but they're just sweet. Not even a little bit sour. And I can't even say that they produce them some other way over here because you they don't produce them here (at least in Germany) and the back side says that it's made in the USA. So can someone please tell me what's up with that? If someone wants to try candy I think is sour, try center shock (don't know if it's a thing outside of Germany)
I could be wrong but my thought on that is its a comparison thing. Most American versions of foods are sweeter than the same thing elsewhere. When your baseline is everything being very sweet, a candy that is slightly sour will seem more so in comparison.

Idk what kind of cheap sad warheads you've gotten lol. The one and only time I had a warhead, it actually made my mouth start bleeding. I'm guessing probably because they're mostly citric acid
