    I've heard and compared all your demo's and the Korg Prologue 16 sounds the best to my ears. Great job btw.

    This synth has a somewhat sterile harsh sound which I love. It is completely unique. The filters are great. One of the few synths on my wish list.

    The Prologue to me is a very sad story. It was the last time Korg could have saved their reputation, but they blew it.. The Prologue was the best thing they did since the Tritons project and they discontinued it while it was gaining momentum on popularity (and while I was saving to buy one). I missed my chance to get one and they missed their last chance to save themselves from public embarrassment. Since this utter marketing failure of an otherwise fine product, I never bothered my self with Korg again. And it's a rare item on the used market, which proves its value.

    • @100DollarHeadache
      @100DollarHeadache ปีที่แล้ว

      Now that they are licensing ASM's Polytouch key action, I'd love to see a Prologue 2 with poly aftertouch, along with the 4-pole filter from the Minilogue (which in turn is the Odyssey mkIII filter) added, and key tracking amount getting a knob instead of a switch.

      I hear you. The Prologue uses 2VCO's plus a MULTI ENGINE. I agree, the big manufactures are quite late. They should have at least came out with an along synth in the late 90's or early 2k. Can you image if they did come out with one back then? Epic! BTW, don't look to the major labels to ever produce music like back in the day. Small indie labels and self releases are where a lot of good music gets released now. The majors only want BIG HITS for youtube and mass appeal.
