the q10 has to depend on the stakes tho, if i play 2nl people arent following their supposed ranges so the sb 4 bet range would be much tighter terefore q10 should have at least some folds

Every hand that you 3bet will have some folds and they also do not 4bet enough there so you should not have a lower 3betting frequency than optimal. What you should understand is that many hands have similar or the same ev between raising or just calling preflop. Therefore you can simplify your ranges to 3betting hands that you will make less mistakes after 3betting and call hands that you will play well after calling. The higher you move up the close to the actual range you need to be. QTs imo is a better 3bet vs recreational players and a better call vs regular players for most micro stakes players.

disagree, if you are a microstakes player you want to improve, and not just get the "easiest option", unless you dont want to improve and want to be those micro grinders from russia who are playing nl2-10 for years and years and never move up, anyway, im currently playing nl100, and an exploit here is that players fold a lot to 4bets, why would i "simplify" by shoving, every single player on my limit who just shoves is terrible and lose at the limit, there isnt a single one winning, that tells a lot..

You are happy when they fold vs your AKo shoves. You are correct that having an "easier option" that is losing considerable ev is a bad idea. However, shoving AKo is theoretically sound in most spots. Of course this does not mean we are only shoving instead of 4betting with our range. You are right that the goal should be to improve. This is why I explain to students what theory looks like and what strategy is a simplification.

That doesnt make sens.. 3bet k5o & your hand is always on the dominated side with basically nothing good you can play. Why would you want losing/break even players to play inflated pots with trash hands

There are a few reasons for it vs regulars. Against recreational players i agree that 3betting more linear is good here.
