Always and Forever a devotional dedicated loyal listener to Goth Music of the O.G.(original Goth) generation. Been Goth since 1986. Though I couldn't express it openly until I voluntarily disconnected and separated from family relations in the 1990's. This music is pleasant to the senses and soul from beginning to end. "Ever the pleasure " cherished listening experience.
You can't have the true collection without the grandfathers, ie. Bauhaus/Sisters of Mercy. It just wouldn't be true goth. I like goth better than original punk. And I'm an original punk rocker born & raised. I agree this is an amazing collection of goth.
I love that Skeletal Family riff so much! This is a great list, hadn't really taken much notice of Kommunity FK before, but will certainly be looking up more of them now.
Excellent selection. Favourite is the deliciously atmospheric The Last Trip. Would love to be able to understand those lyrics, so menacingly delivered - a tour de force. Does anyone know anything about Camera Work? - would love to find more by them.
@@layditms2 Goth as in music? it never went away ... it did dye down but there has been gothic style dark sounding bands since 1970s . but as a dress sense it never died.
Experience the Original Generation through the music. It's what can be accomplished. The core essence of the underground subgenre. Keep listening to anything 1980-1989. You keep the people who contributed to the scene and genre alive. Something that my elders and mentors in Goth taught me from beginners level basics is honor the original music. Time Traveling is accomplished by music listening. Just as strapping on some old band merch (T-shirts, band patches , buttons and pins) some dr.martens, a vampy pair of sunglasses, and well, it's better than Halloween. Because it's something that can be enjoyed year-round.
@@chop2shop Why didn't you include The Crue - Burn? I know that song was written in the 1990s for the film The Crow but The Crow , were considered goth and dark and they were around in the 1980s also

Magnificent collection! Definitely would use as a "Goth music starter pack" that doesn't include the usual Bauhaus/Sisters of Mercy/ect.
