Re sentiment: I’ve seen the same thing with my tweets. Made a bull case for Meta days near the bottom around October 2022 and it got such a low likes to view ratio. Anyway I tend to agree we’re close to the bottom but a vol spike is possible (and I would welcome it)

Xi Jinping vowed China would re-unify with Taiwan. He said it was imminent. It may never happen, but let's face it, if he even attempts it, semi stocks will be down 20-30% in the 1st day at least on a knee jerk. That's the only thing that makes me nervous putting too much money there.

Many stocks will be affected when China attacks Taiwan. Not only semiconductor stocks. Think of all the companies that depend on China for production and revenue. AAPL, SBUX, TSLA etc. I only worry with things I can control. I cannot control China just like I cannot control the weather. Just invest in semiconductor stocks and hedge them with other defensive stocks or options
