I am getting my new 2023 Versys 650 LT this coming Tuesday afternoon, 5-9-23, after a LONG and exhaustive search. This bike will be #90 that I have had over 60 years of riding. I live in the 'Heartland,' (64836) in a Rural area, surrounded by 'Curvy' and scenic roads, where I normally ride at about 45 MPH and just 'Smell the roses!' My last similar bike was a new 2017 Honda Africa twin Adventure Sport, a 2016 Suzuki DL650 and a DL1000 too:) I just hope it has as much power as my recently owned Triumph Rocket 3 Roadster!!!! Thank you for your succinct report AND not using any FOWL language as is prevalent lately on TH-cam. Sam:)

If anything causes a vibration noise on your Versys 650, then it's almost always easy to find & fix it. The Versys 650 is the most comfortable 650 that I've ever sat on. I rode mine 850 miles, in two days. I had no problems with hand numbness or seat lag. I wouldn't trade it for anything else,..except (maybe) a newer Versys 650 !
Good video and I agree with your comments. I recently bought the 2023 Versys 650 LT and have only 388 miles on it. I go through bikes often. My last bike was a Yamaha FZ1 and before that the Vstrom 1000 and 650. I enjoy the ride of the lighter 650 for touring, flick-ability and reliability. The Versys and Vstrom are in my opinion bullet proof bikes with great gas mileage and easy maintenance. I don't know about 2 up riding, I don't do it. The Versys is a polite and comfortable bike that I enjoy riding. It has enough horses to keep me engaged and I enjoy the ride. Outside temp. is available on the 2023 model by pushing up and holding the toggle. The 2023 comes with cases. I added lots of after market accessories to make the ride even more enjoyable for touring. I took my 2012 Vstrom 650, 5520 miles from San Diego to Jacksonville Fl and back. I plan on using my 2023 Versys to ride 20 more states to complete my lower 48 state goal on a motorcycle. Can't wait to get back on the road. Thanks for the video and thanks to all who commented.
For all the short inseam riders ( measure your leg from top of leg to bottom of foot …heel to crotch basically . 30inches and under riders may find this bike tall at 845 mm seat height . I stupidly have dropped this bike twice at standstill …from letting go of one handlebar to reach for a gate fob …the front wheel is heavy if it turns inward at rest ..and you have one arm loose …it goes over … also it can be awkward to get a foot down on an uphill cambered stop sign ect. I am currently looking at dropping the seat height down to 820 mm .
It may be a region thing, I am in Australia but mine has outside temp. Initially it shows water / engine temp but if I hold the up selector button on the hanger's just above the Mode button it switches to outside temp. All they had was the green version when I got mine, not my first choice at the time but it has grown on me, now I love it.

Yes I know total bummer
The mivv suono full system can be made road legal. You have the option to install a catalytic converter. Still not as good as just a slipon, but i guess better than nothing since you keep it within the emissions regulation. Whereas other systems for the versys also cut out the cat.
Btw, i've got the exact same bike ordered, should arrive somewhere in september. Im a beginner btw, have a little experience on a 50cc moped, and taking lessons now on a z650, so im already used to the 650 engine. Exam is also in september.
Though i am going to install sw motech crash bars and kobra handguards immediately. Just in case 😁
@@HvV8446 best of luck. As I said this bike is great for all levels of riding don’t really need more power in the real world.
@@strix2035 hehe, the z650 im riding now is also restricted to 35kW (for A2 license) and even then im smiling ear to ear when i pull the throttle open. Im used to 50cc, so yeah. Thats why.
what is a slip?
а почему нет, как по мне, вопрос в другом, с нашим курсом рубля эта покупка не для каждого
Sorry I can’t seem to translate your comment
@@strix2035Sorry to write in Russian, my comment was like this.
And why not, as for me, the question is different, with our ruble exchange rate, such a purchase is not for everyone.
For example, in Russia, the average earnings are $ 300-400 per month, and the Kawasaki 650 costs $ 12,000, so not everyone can afford such a motorcycle.
Thank you for your attention and review.
@@alt13658 thank you for your comment and writing back. So yes I can understand in that situation you would have to pick another bike. I hope whatever you pick is reliable for you and safe riding.
Your sat on the bike outside you know if it’s hot or cold lol
I don’t get the joke.
LOL, true dat. That one had me cracking up.
This bike has never even been riden .
I put just about 11k in less then a year I can assure you this bike is ridden.
bad quality video. background noise is killing the ears and there is no showing of the bike from any angle... and audio is very unclear.
Sorry you didn’t like it.
