I'm so excited to see you again, Lynn! I learned worship dance at the Rock under your instruction in about 1992ish. Although we have lost touch for many years, I continue to lead worship dance at a church all these years later. Thank you for a firm foundation! Hi Moira, I understand… in this video, think of me like you are looking in a mirror. Also, maybe work on one tiny section and just practice that several times. Your body has like “muscle memory.” So with practice, you will definitely get the hang of it. In my more recent videos, I teach from the back, making it easier to follow. Many blessings!

Struggle with changing up my dance steps choreography for a senior dance team
I hear you. Maybe alter an already familiar step. Or introduce one new step at a time, in the midst of what they already know. Bless you!

Hi I am a dance worship leader at our Congregation. We do mostly Davidic/Messianic style dances and sometimes to more contemporary Christian music as well. At times I have felt i am limited to moves when it comes to the Israeli folk dance moves and have recently started adding modern dance amongst the other moves to make it more interesting. I will definitely be watching get ideas of combination ms of moves to make it our own.
That’s great:). Although I’ve danced (ballet, modern, etc.) all my life, I started out my worship dance experience in the 80’s with mostly Davidic dancing. Oh how I loved it, especially at the Feast of Tabernacles that we did every year. It is fun to explore and branch out with other styles of dance. I hope you get lots of ideas from these videos:) blessings!
@@dancingforhim yes same here I have danced all the styles of dance since i was 4yrs old and was introduced to the davidic dancing about 7yrs ago. When another member of our Congregation joined us at the time abd knew nore about it and lead for several years. Yes we celebrate all the feast. Purim and Passover is just around the corner.

Ik, what I struggle with, being totally honest🥺? Sometimes balance (I had brain surgery and it was there b4 and a little after), also being consistent, and that's the truth Pastor.🤷♀️
I understand about trying to be consistent. I say I’ll do that every Monday morning😄 balance can be practiced, though.
