Recently Agung Hapsah uploaded a video and leading me to your TED Youth Talk. Now i thought that ruangguru.com is not just a startup, it's a game changer. You and your team are awesome. Keep the good work Iman!

    I like the idea of proposing a solution toward government issues in education - let say, offering solution instead of blaming on individual role which is a good point to begin with. However, as an English teacher I don't think that the earlier concept you brought into the account of your punchline is a match to what really is. I'm implying that teacher is not supposed to control students to do something. I'm not comfortable with you're saying that teacher is a controller. We are as the teacher, we indeed want to develop their learning process but most importantly we help them, we guide them. We never force them to do something which apparently they don't want. Basically, I didn't fit to the concept you tried to deliver at the beginning of your transit to the leading status quo. The students can grow once there is a 'will' in their learning process so we can see the visible efficacy in the progress. To stimulate their interest, we need to solve the methods to let the them find their interest and achieve the targets in learning process. Therefore, I assume that it's not only dealing with students and teachers but also with the way we both work on those combination - we somewhat regret the absence of social studies, behavioral activities and critical thinking which should be generated to the curriculum in our education.
    All in all, thanks for aspiring with the idea of moving your books into library as the visible contribution to your community and bring technology in education development of our community in Indonesia.

    This is so wrong.... especially when you wanna make the Education company with national label but all the money comes and goes to abroad coz the owners are foreigner. While this guy did a realy hard work as CEO but still he's only a puppet and the benefits will go to the real owners.

      by foreigner, who do you refer to actually? im curious about it.

    • @urfavchickenlegs8797
      @urfavchickenlegs8797 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      cause if you type "who is the owner of ruang guru" the name that appears is "Adamas Belva Syah Devara" and he is definitely an Indonesian youth. if by foreigner, you meant about the foreign investment of Ruang Guru, then you need to read more about a company. cause investment can come from everywhere, but you cant just take conclusion from that, you need to see where the company contribute to and who gets the impact of it, well the answer is definitely Indonesia. so pls take back your words about Ruang Guru being owned by foreigner. thank you.
