I drove from ludhiana to Munabao just to see the Rajasthan border a few years ago. BSF was kind enough to allow me to climb up the observation tower right at the end point. BRO arranged a sumptuous lunch for two of us at their Gadra Road complex. Really enjoyed that trip.

Thankyou uncle. And I really feel sad for how, West Indian Railway has been ruined by Pakistan. It was the best connected route by railways in British India. The beautiful railway line covered by Mark Tully (of BBC) in 1990s has also been ruined.
@@rcb1786 I agree with you 100 percent. North Western Railway of British Raj now called Pakistan Railway is completely ruined by successuve governments in Pakistan. When I was a child I marvelled at British engineering that completed so many engineering wonders in undivided India. But Alas no one pays so much attention as in India and now Indian Railways are an example to the world in terms of modernization.
