I was devastated the day I found out Wayne was gone. I actually cried. His music got me through some hard times. Then there was poor Tera killing herself because she couldn't live without him. RIP both of you.

This is what split them up originally and started the fight over the Static X name which wayne eventually lost :( He wanted to take them in a more mellow direction ((as heard in cult of static, which absolutely sucks)) and the rest didn't... even Wayne realised it which is why he went back to his synth routes in Pig Hammer, and you are hearing SOME bits of what he had planned in their latest 2 albums ((not all, but some, and even then its just his vocals as the tracks he had planned with said vocals were COMPLETELY different)).

I still get bummed in 2023 thinking about Wayne and tera wish they were still here today only got to meet him once during the cannibal era. I love static x’s music grew up with it and a lot of great memories at their shows glad the guys are keeping it going finally got to see them live with xero and It was great a lot better than I thought so I’m happy we get that version on static x
when I first heard Static X maybe 15 years ago, i was blown away, my friends mostly had no idea about heavy metal, they thought me crazy at almost 55 years old, oh well, the other band on the top for me is Sevendust,,, god i love this shit at 69 yrs old now, and this song is one of the very best
My Aunt grew up with Tera and she saved her from a crazy abusive relationship. So sad that both Wayne and Tera are gone...This song was named after her.

thankfully, there's great live videos here on youtube that you can vicariously live through. Unfortunately, I have to tell you from experience, the excitement from being in that environment, the crowd, the loud music, Wayne interacting with the crowd whether through his animated looks, his "SHOTS!" toasts in between songs, and his wonderful smile thanking everyone that came...is not something that can be experience any longer :(
I got to see them right around the corner from me in the city I live in. I was surprised they came here at all and I was in the first row, right in front of Wayne. It was fucking awesome!
I saw them live at Scout Bar in Houston, TX during the Cannibal Killers tour. It was when the lineup was Koichi, Wayne, Tony and Nick. That is one of the best experiences I've ever had going to a live show.
One of my favorite front around the time of his passing. I got to see him play GOTJ 2 times and Ozzfest 2007. Music just hits deep but also is so fun. Wayne really knew how to connect with his fans.

Dook yeah but not really in a accessible approach to the regular mtv listeners back in early-mid 2000s. i dont care if they got blended with the nu-metal wave...they had industrial tones that made me later on discover fear factory and strapping young lad.

Sad that they're gone, I've watched a few interviews with them and they seemed pretty chill. Wayne was a pretty talented dude and Tera had a fun stage presence when she was with them. I hope both are resting easy now cause they'll never be forgotten.
