I’m not a constant consumer of romances but I am interested in a couple of Leslie’s suggestion. However, I am very interested in both of your non-romance recommendations!
I'm not a fan of the miscommunication trope either--I don't think I have the patience for it! But I will commit to second chance romances being my favorite!
Thanks for the introduction to Leslie and 'She Reads Romance'. I just skimmed her podcast episodes, and her 'what to read & what to skp' episodes sound particularly useful--I'd like to hear the pros and cons from an expert as I'm trying to keep an open mind about the genre. (And I may try the new Ali Hazelwood novel Leslie highlighted here, but I was a bit underwhelmed by 'Bride'...)
Catching up on comments today and was struck by your being underwhelmed by Bride. It's on my book stack but keeps getting bumped down. I hope to get to it this month -- Chris
“new werewolf problem” 😂 Thanks for introducing us to Leslie’s podcast, which looks to be a great romance resource.

I can honestly say I’m not a romance reader, but I think I may try one before I completely proclaim that, lol
