Dude this band is so underrated it’s criminal thank you for uploading this
My brotha you gotta hear their whole lineup of albums, one of the best bands out there.
One of my dearest bands ever, welcome to the rabbit hole!
I like to tell people Drew sounds like an angry Freddie Mercury.
You could pick any song off their last 3 albums and be blown away. Nothing will sound like this as they don't really repeat themselves. My be try Landmines or To Tame the Temporal Shrew.

Formed in late 2002, Seattle's Rishloo continue to gain wide-spread recognition for their dynamic sound, thought-provoking lyrics and intense live performance. Often compared to bands like Dredg, The Mars Volta, Tool, and Fair to Midland, Rishloo strives to push the envelope of psychedelic, progressive art-rock, drawing inspiration from classic artists like The Beatles, David Bowie, and Pink Floyd, while incorporating the modern experimentation and emotional depth of artists such as Tori Amos, Deftones, Radiohead, Porcupine Tree, and more.
In February 2012 the band announced that Andrew, the vocalist, decided to leave the band, this being the unexpected end of Rishloo. The remaining members briefly formed the band The Ghost Apparatus, until late in 2013 when Andrew and the band rejoined forces. On October 10th 2013 the band announced that they had decided to move forward making music as Rishloo.
Continuing as they have since their inception as an entirely independent venture, Rishloo have sold 5,500+ units of their debut album, Terras Fames (2004) and 9,500+ units of their sophomore effort, Eidolon (2007) while attracting tens of thousands of fans online from around the globe. Interest in the band continues to grow exponentially on sites such as Myspace, Facebook, TH-cam, ReverbNation, and Last.FM.
With a lot of hard work and much appreciated help from their fans, Rishloo continue to travel and perform whenever possible throughout the U.S. and parts of Canada. In the course of their adventures, they have been privileged to share the stage with artists like Karnivool, Papa Roach, Fair to Midland, Ashes Divide, Sevendust, Trapt, Strata, and Judas Priest.
The band's latest effort, Living as Ghosts with Buildings as Teeth, was released December 2014.

I hadn't been a Prog kick since college, and these guys really dragged me back down the rabbit hole. It's crazy that they put out so many albums riddled with absolutely awesome songs and didn't break ground. They still don't even even have a metal-archives page.
It's not the singer from Tool, and you're going to hear tons of comparisons between Tool/Dream Theater, and literally every other band in Progressive Rock and Progressive Metal, even though the genres predate those bands. It's tragically inescapable because those are the ones that broke out in to the mainstream and act as the base level bar even though there's way better bands out there.
For more prog goodness that has a lot of artistry to it I would suggest The January Tree album by Dead Soul Tribe, and for wild range I would suggest Into the Electric Castle by Ayreon.
Great band, great reaction.
I personally prefer their 2013 album and see it as their magnum opus "Living as Ghosts with Buildings as Teeth". imo it can be compared to the greatest albums in the prog genre without shame, its really an exceptional album.
I'd recommend the songs "Landmines", "Dark Charade" and "The Great Rain Beatle".
Well I feel obliged to thumbs up this.. thanks John.. just spreading the seeds hehe
Excellent band, I think from Australia? They have a handful of albums, but I don’t think anything recently.
