Good players do bluff frequently and you have to call with bluff catchers in poker plenty of times because otherwise you're just going to be folding way too much of your range to a river bet (and bluffing you is going to be insanely profitable) - in this spot it depends how many Jx he's calling on the turn. He's going to have some flushes himself but if he only calls with flushes he's probably folding too often. So he has to call with some bluff catchers and having a T and a heart make the best bluff catchers although the 8h isn't necessarily the best. Either way it's a close spot but he read the situation well and probably should have folded.

He would then know he was probably beat on the river either against a full house (JJJ & 10s) or the flush got there. It's possible Tom could have started with QQ KK or aces which honestly was the reason he probably called and/or was just to bluff catch if possible.
They do actually have football in England. It's called football, and you play it with a round object (the ball) and the body part below your ankle (the foot).

If he re-raises you probably sign hand the best hand. i mean also taking into consideration what type of player villain is
