You can use hunter class to get 15% extra movement speed. It helps a lot.
Also you should bring 60 water and 60 dry meat and put these in the quick slots to be able to run a bit further.
And the best way to farm ice is to break the regular rock deposit which gives 3 ice blocks par deposit.
Last but not the least, be aware of the local chat channel as sometimes players die and you can grab their stuff and their farm.
I don't recommend kitting ennemies on other players on purpose tho, because players will be toxic with you in return and this is not good for a good farming session (they can prevent the zone from resetting for example, or aggro mobs on you etc)
