The G63 is finally a true AMG worthy of wearing the AMG badge. The ONLY car sicker is the Brabus G63!! The best thing of all is having an Aussie review it, speaking “our” language!!!!! Brilliant! Sub’d, liked & notified!!

I just noticed the fuel door has been relocated as well. My fuel door on my 2018 G63 is down low near the rear bumper where the 2019 fuel door is up above the rear tire.

jeez. ur driving position seems like u r driving a full size truck, or lorry where u come from. u passed seemed like a Toyota Highlander, which I have and it seemed quite small in comparison
We didn’t explain it properly, it’s done better here... the rear is a rigid style setup connected via a lead like bar etc whilst the front is a traditional setup - th-cam.com/video/Z2e966SuCO4/w-d-xo.html

I’m no expert but my first guess would be stability. Without certain aero elements, the faster you go the less stable it is. And in an SUV, it doesn’t typically make sense to have things like diffusors and wings.
I have a gla 45amg and had a loan car during my last service, the vents are not better , its just another case of changing something for just no reason. I can see them goi g back to the old style later on. It always happen with car makers, its happened with hedladlight designs in the past. The large screen also is not any better. Another case of designers changing something that already works. Don't get me wrong i love my daily driver but Mercedes need to what out and not loose sight on the design or loose clients to BMW when thwy get there act together. Just my thoughts on a sunday night. Thanks.
