Port Grimaud is 70% owned by foreigners (Germans, English, Belgians, Swiss...) former business leaders who have sold their companies, therefore rich retirees...
Because of these foreigners, the prices have risen enormously.
It is not uncommon for the price of boats moored in front of the villad to be 2,3,4,5 times more expensive than the villa itself.
The owners of Port Grimaud are very big consumers of water (boat washing) and oil...global warming is a taboo subject in Port Grimaud!
Port Grimaud is in conflict with the Marie de Grimaud who wishes to take over the concession of all the rings, the enjoyment of the rings paid for with the villas being limited by contract from the moment of their purchase...
POTENTIAL BUYERS: pay close attention to 2 things:
- make sure that you will always have free use of your ring (real estate agencies avoid this subject)
- make sure that you will be compensated by your insurer in the event of rising water!
