27 year TBI survivor here from a bad car wreck on 3/31/97... Was in the hospital 26 days and Physical Therapy 18 months .. I struggle with repeating myself,poor multitasking skills,poor short term memory,temper control issues etc... Post TBI I attempted and failed at several careers-( Special Education Teacher,Car Salesman,911 Radio Dispatcher) due to my TBI issues... A combination of TBI,PTSD and career failures led to depression,anxiety,and suicidal thoughts... I am FINALLY having a somewhat decent quality of life... I FINALLY received SSDI-( Social Security Disability Income) after 15 years,4 appeals and 3 attorneys... I now drive for a car dealership and build model cars as a hobby... These activities give my life meaning,help me better deal with my TBI and PTSD issues,and improve my self esteem...
Thank u so much for this! After some Traumatas i was healing my Body , but the hard work was on the mind. I had Amnesia and had to learn even languages Again that i already knew. Making TH-cam Videos helps me to relearn languages i used to know and to help not only my patients but hopefully soon more people who re overweight as a physical therapist and a weight loss coach. Hope this will inspire someone to start whatever they love doing! Cheers from Germany
I have closed brain injury. I get post traumatic brain tremor when I get a jerk. I used propranolol 40 mg tremor stops but I stopped due to side effects.
Does the misspelling, of Contusion, REALLY matter here? So what, if he misspelled a word! The point is what he is saying, NOT the fact that he misspelled ONE word!
