Hi, can you tell me of the k70pro since it hasn't been released globally yet if it's missing something on the software side, network language or similar stuff? Thank you very much.
Good phones. I think if either of these got launched in Europe they would be at least the price of a pixel 8. You have to add 20% for VAT alone. Last year most Xiaomi phones were around 75% more than Chinese pricing in the UK. Still for people who don't mind importing and the missing band 20 they both offer very good value. These two and the Iqoo neo 9 pro (even cheaper) are the cheapest phones in China with the latest flagship chips and they all have decent cameras too
Considering buying these phones. Prices are in USD Realme GT 5 pro-$599 Weak UW/selfie Iqoo 12-$599 Weak selfie/selfie video Xiaomi 13T pro-$589 Weak selfie/selfie video Just ok cpu/gpu/screen Redmi K70 pro-$549 Just ok UW/telephoto Weak selfie/selfie video Iqoo neo 9 pro-$499 No telephoto Weak selfie/selfie video Can you think of any others under $600 with modern chipset? Which would you say is the best overall?
@@AverageDadOfficial that's what I'm leaning towards. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't leaving any others out. It really does seem to offer the best overall value currently if you can live without the best UW experience and just ok selfies. So much bells and whistles without spending 1k
If the display, battery life, and software are more important to you, then choose the Xiaomi Redmi K70 Pro. But if the connectivity and sound are more of a priority - go for the Realme GT5 Pro.
Thats not true. Realme def wins on battery (has 400mah more and actual real battery tests shows it's ahead), display has LTPO and u won't notice pic difference from normal usage distance, software def gt5 pro as it's realme's most significant flagship so u can except much support down the road as well as a community. U can easily unlock bootloader in settings in realme whereas that's near impossible with Redmi, and u risk bricking ur phone. Redmi is Xiaomis little shadow and won't get the software love and attention say Xiaomi 14 pro will get.
Lmao, I'd never go back to them. I had the GT2 ME. Which was the first phone in a long time with DC dimming and snapdragon 8 gen 1+, Unfortunately the software really let it down. Xiaomi and miui eu is the way to go.
Pointless for me to talk about as all areas/networks are different. sick of hearing about band 20 from people that have no clue what it means! it is a 3G, 5G and WIFI phone! Thanks
Why didn't you include any performance tests. These are gaming focused phones and you are not showing any benchmark. Exp : Antutu, Wild life extreme, Throttle test etc.
Just started watching mate, love the look of these two phones but the lack of band 20 is a killer for me unfortunately. Leaning towards the iqoo 12 or OnePlus 12 but they both cost more of course
Ok, but what version you have? Is it global ROM, China ROM, or China ROM with google app? Im waiting for global from premier, but if google pay work on China ROM I can order today ;)
And additonal question. Im wondering what to choose Realme gt5pro (cheapes), oppo x100pro (most expensive), nubia z60ultra (no wireless charging), or oppo x7pro. What woudl you recomend? I dont consider oneplus 12, to expensive compare to gt5pro.
Redmi K70 Pro = Better thermals, Build Quality, Better Software (Miui gets a bad rep on global, but it’s god tier on Chinese variants and Flagships), Bigger Community and Support (Custom Roms Pre HyperOS) Realme GT5 Pro = Better camera, Wireless Charging, Better screen, Higher Resolution, Higher Battery, IP64 Waterproof and Dustproof
I would argue that the Pixel 8 is still better value because it will continue to still get software updates after the realme and redmi stop even getting security patches.
Realme promises 3 major os updates + 4 security Redmi should be exactly the same They're powerful enough and believe me they should age much better than pixel U think the tensor G3 and pixel's battery can age as good as these phones ? And can actually be used for more than 4 years ? (End of support for realme and redmi) Imo these will def age better tbh (realme promises 80% battery capacity after 1600 charging cycles as well )
@@skyrimdj3620 and why would I believe you? You have literally no reason to believe that Google's Tensor G3 won't last the 7 years of software support Google has promised. As for battery that's not that expensive to replace. All in all the Pixel really does offer the better value for the money

One word I’m afraid, support. Granted, these Chinese phones are superb value but until they catch up with the big boys in terms of security updates and patches etc, they will struggle to gain more presence in today’s market. My opinion of course as an iPhone user who is a big Honor fan.

Can you give us a full review of the realme UI 5.0?
