    tho most of the food bank stuff are things the stores were not able to sell and are mostly passed the best before date. Must is still edible but be careful as some of it will be rotten. As they say, you get what you pay for.

    You can actually start driving immediately if you come in with a valid driver’s license from your home country. I love the way you were finishing off each other sentences, it’s cute 🥰

    • @theakposionustv6719
      @theakposionustv6719  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You will not start driving immediately but with a valid drivers licence and a confirmation letter from frsc(ur country agency that issues drivers licence if u are not from nigeria) or the Nigerian(ur country I.e Ghana,Kenya,ethiopia) embassy here with atleast 4yrs of experience in it,you can apply for full G-test(practical)license and if you pass the test you can now drive.....I just gave you the basic thing that is obtainable....we will do a video on this covering both someone who did not come with any drivers licence

    • @ChristieSpurs
      @ChristieSpurs 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@theakposionustv6719 well, we came in with our valid driver’s license and we’re able to start driving immediately. It could be different for different provinces though. We live in Saskatchewan. Though you have to do the driving test and pass within 3 months of landing and if after 3 months of landing you don’t pass the driving test, you have to pass before you can continue driving. But you can drive with the drivers license from your home country within 3 months of landing even if you haven’t done the driving test.

    The income actually have more then doubled since 10 years ago and this includes income for non-Canadians and new comers: 10 years ago the minimum wage was 8 dollars the hour at the highest paying provinces and as low as 6 dollars the hour in the lowest. We cant keep increasing minimum wage because its causing the stores to increase their prices are go bankrupt. The real problem is the house price and the rent that are way too high and the government is directly responsible for this and thats both the Libérals and the Conservatives who passed ridiculous laws that randomly started to increase the value of all properties in towns and cities. When Harper was in power, i saw my parent's house double in value despite the fact that they hadn't done anything to increase the value. In fact the value should have decreased because of the damages but no it increased. Harper passed that law because to win his elections he had to decrease the taxes and so he created this loophole where he'd decrease the taxes but increase the value of homes that way despite the lower taxes, the government would still get the same amount of tax revenue because taxes are based on the total value of what you own. But then when Trudeau got in power, he restored the previous high taxes but did not remove those ridiculous laws Harper made and in fact he actually added some more so that he and his friends could sell their homes at higher prices and buy some new homes outside the country. During the Trucker protest Trudeau had fled to his house outside of Canada. Trudeau has no loyalty to Canada and really just made everything war worse. But the Conservatives are also guilty for initially starting those laws that made homes unaffordable. If you wish for homes to become affordable, the only party option is the PPC People's Party of Canada. They are the only ones that will actually fix things because the Coservatives caused the problem, the Libérals made it worse, the NPD is just Libérals 2.0 who always agrees to everything the Libérals do and the Bloc only cares for Québec. Altho the Bloc is a better choice then the 3 others and has more chances to win then the PPC, the People's Party of Canada remains the best choice even tho they are only doing what the people wants to rise the popularity of the Canadian Oil industry, they are still the only ones trying to fix the high rent and unaffordable house problem.

    • @theakposionustv6719
      @theakposionustv6719  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not really, but you can call if you want to. But check for the days they run their services and we visit. They take your details , give you the foodstuffs and schedule you for another day you can come again. Most of the food banks give you appointment to collect foodstuffs once in a month from them and that doesn't stop you from going to another food bank. So its not bad to call, but if you can, its better to visit during the days they operate.
      I hope I was able to answer your question, let me no if you need further assistance on this.
