I remember only 请being taught in the textbooks until much later they introduced 麻烦 but didn't go into much detail about the differences between 请 and others. Great video and very informative!

This one "ภ" (pho samphao) is from thaï alphabet and i've used him as an "n"
and
This one "Σ" (sigma) is from greek alphabet and i've wrote it as a "E"
(⚠️not to mix up with "∑" symbole wich is from maths🤧)

My chinese friends rarely use 请，麻烦，拜托.... but they use 吧 in the end of the sentece. 坐吧，來吧，吃吧，別这样吧。
吧 is to make suggestions. 请 is to make it polite.

the sentence structure we use in China to ask for bill is different. we just say 买单 mai 3 dan 1 . 😊💙🍡

Thank you! Your videos are teaching me a great deal of vocabulary. Every time I see a word or phrase I don't know, I grab my 1943 Mathews Chinese-English dictionary and look it up. It takes longer with simplified characters, of course...

@@yiminchinese Yes, I thought they were more expressive than simplified characters, and since my interest is in Confucianism, I intended to read the Four Books and the Five Classics in Chinese, and virtually everything written about them would be in traditional characters. Also, they are superior for calligraphy.
