Agreed , Manu won Olympic gold with Argentina, he won a Euroleague championship, and 4 NBA championships! What a career! He took his love of the game and infectious passion around the globe.

it wasn't a surprise at all. Two years before they proved that they could win, because they did it at the worlds against a US team that had Reggie Miller, Paul Pierce, Big Ben...
They didn't win the title because they were outright robbed in the final, in a way that Joey Crawford wouldn't do. Not even with LeBron in the court.
But the Gods of basketball had something even more special reserved to them.
