nice man, had aquestion. Did you have issues yanking out that negative cable that runs to the back of the engine block? Its kind of just hanging out on mine although I'm not done with the project. I also couldn't get the starter line so I just didn't pull it out either. I have that one stretched across the engine and I don't like that. Any suggestions? It seems too thick to wrap behind the engine and dangle to the starter.

It’s been a while so I don’t remember exactly about the one on the engine block I don’t remember that being too bad. The starter one was challenging I removed the starter and installed it while it was off then bolted the starter back up.

I definitely think I’ll be doing this for the WJs as well.

Is alternator wire running to fuse box stock or did you do that yourself

Exactly what i'm trying to figure out... not one of these jeepcables install videos for JKs is the same. And the review photos on the site have some questionable wiring as well involving the provided fuse. Pretty sure the fuse is meant to be between the alternator and the battery, and then the fuse box should only have one short positive run to it from the battery...
That is how I wired mine using the labelling on the positive cables.

Rocky TV..is your Jeep a 3.8 or a 4.0? Also..how and did you remove the
original wiring from behind the engine head/firewall..or did you just leave
it there and install the new wiring over it? Thanks bro..

Hey, this Jeep has the 3.8 and I couldn’t really figure out how to easily remove the wiring behind the engine so I tucked it up and out of the way and just ran the new wires over it.
