The only comment I would make is that they're "nested loops" not "nestled". I already know a bit about fastloops but I think you laid it all out in a very useful, accessible and straightforward way.
almightyzentaco As a programmer I'm not really confused about loops, but could you make tutorial on how to do cliff avoidance (think red koopas) for platformer enemies without resorting to "bouncers" (objects that would swap direction of enemy upon colliding with it) on each edge of the platform? It would make easier to just put out terrain and change it if level is too hard/easy if I don't have to care about putting/moving bouncers.
You made a mistake where you forgot to mention you added the scaling event and forgot to mention you got rid of the "destroy" event. The video overall is great. Very informative. Thank you for this.
I take it I can use fast loops to create hitscan weapons? When a player presses the fire button the fast loop can check every pixel in front, the do something if a collision is detected?
I'm using fastloops that run for one iteration as sorta "functions" for stuff that I may want to do in many places and I don't want to just copy-paste actions. Code reuse, basically. Is that kosher or would it cause issues down the line?

Thanks for the vid. This really helped me out with a sorting function. It took about 20 seconds before, but now it's practically instant.
